About this ebook
The full-moon was glowing luminously over this merciless part of our city, and it was well past midnight. One police officer, Leo Brown, on duty tonight, looked into a narrow alley. "How many different felonies will occur before the sun is up again?" Officer Brown asked himself nervously, "nobody knows," he added as he kept his right hand on his weapon. He hated night duty. Officer Brown, is a black police officer with many years service. The crime, The Escape, happened several month earlier. It was about the woman Alice Crown, and the bestial, or horrible way she had been murdered, and the way her killers escaped.

The full-moon was glowing luminously over this merciless part of our city, and it was well past midnight. One police officer, Leo Brown, on duty this night, looked in to a narrow alley. How many different felonies will occur prior to the sun is up again,
officer Brown asked himself nervously, nobody knows,
he added as he kept his right hand close to his weapon. Officer Brown loathed night duty. This was his last night for several weeks. Looking at his watch, he thought, another five hours, and I’m out of the morass. Then I’m free from night duty for four full weeks.
Leo Brown, a black police officer with many years in service. He is a tall man, a few inches above six feet, with black short cut hair and a strong physic. The right type for a police officer.
Nevertheless, this other crime, the one I’m referring too, the one with ‘The Escape’, happened some month earlier. And that is nothing new, in this city of ours. Crimes happens all the time. Well, I understand there are still some people that decline to watch the news-channels on their television. They say it’s nothing but, bad news, killings, death, and accidents, we don’t need to see it. Some even call it, over the fence gossip.
There might even be some of you people out there, that hasn't been told about this brutal murder of Alice Crown, although all the news-media has been pushing the story for close to a month, by now.
Well, I’m as most of us, an emigrant, from the northern part of Europe, and my name is Stig Klark, usually called ‘Stickan’ by my friends. I work for the law enforcers, the FBI, to be more precis. And I'm six foot three inches tall, of well-trimmed muscles. Weigh in at hundred ninety pounds, blue eyes and almost blond hair. So, now when you have my statistics, let’s get to the story. It is without any doubt, the cruelest, and coldest, murder in this country’s history, and that my friends, says a lot.
It was by all the law enforcers, the Police, the Sheriff, US Marshals, FBI, CIA, and half a dozen other law enforcers, looked at, as the most bestial crime of this century. This woman, Alice Crown, she wasn’t only killed, she was totally mutilated, and tortured, while she was alive. She had a hang-man’s noose around her neck, in a way that didn’t kill her right away. Then she had, while still alive, been used for knife, target practice. Ten knives were stuck to her body, and had been left there. At least another fifteen scars told us that many more knives had been used. As one of the participant later told the detective, during a session in the interrogation room. She had screamed out, before she died, I’ll get all of you. And you Burt Stone will be the last one to die. You will see, or hear, all your friends’ dead. Then, you will know, when all the other seven are dead, your own turn is soon to come,
then Alice Crown closed her eyes and died.
Then precipitously an extremely strong wind erupted across the meadow where she
