Episode Synopses:
In Episode 1, you'll find a "Utopian" Populace that has made normal human acts 'Unlawful'. Going as far as making caring for another person punishable by death. One man will do everything to get back at those in power who did this. He'll do anything to put an end to it-even if it takes his last dying breath.
In Episode 2, a man has discovered that he has a very special power. He can heal any kind of wound-physical, emotional, or mental-just by the touch of his hands. They bless him with a life of ease with everything he ever wanted. But he learns quickly that a life without suffering is not a blessing at all. It's a curse. At great cost he's led to the most valuable power he never knew.
And don't miss the epic conclusion in Episode 3! A young man with a horrible disfigurement can read minds. However, his home life is so bad, it makes his power feel almost meaningless. To make matters worse, he's just heard a thought that someone is about to commit cold-blooded murder at his home. It is here he must decide how to use his power to save his family. Only, something he didn't see coming will stand in his way, resulting in a future that will change everything.

—For Mom & Dad,
you were the first ones who inspired me to love others—
INTRODUCTION
The three tales in this small book were written as an homage to two things:
The classic TV show, The Twilight Zone
.
The belief that compassion is a force to be reckoned with.
My hope is that the story these pieces share take you to another world.
And that they just might inspire you to change yours.
EPISODE 1 True Revenge
Blood popped out of his mouth, some of it on the gun. It nearly ran to the top of his coat.
Not yet.
He only had one action left. He had to save his energy and voice for them.
A calm, robotic whisper spoke on repeat into his skull.
A reminder: if you wish to live, do not break another law. Cease this treason.
He ran faster. It would not help his health, but it would get him there quicker.
It was bound to happen sooner or later. There was no chance, not even slim, that his heart would keep beating. Not with how he was living. But it didn’t matter. He had to follow the anger inside of him for what they did to him. For what they did to everyone. Revenge was his desire. Getting them back for killing him when all he was trying to do was live. It was the only solution. They had to be eliminated in order for this hell to be changed.
Running down the cold, black streets of the Populace, he could feel it was the night. The eery silence screamed in his ears. He kept going as blood now dripped from his nostrils. He wondered how he was still moving.
Maybe it was hope?
That he could something, anything do to stop it all. The injustice. The twisted Laws. The deaths for death’s sake.
All because of that one corrupt power—The Council. They called the shots. They made the regulations. They corrupted everything in whatever way they felt was necessary for the Populace. They claimed it was to strive for one communally productive soul.
Apparently, his actions were not of this plan. Not that it mattered to him, though. Even if it killed him, he knew what must he had to fight. And he was getting close.
To his right was the park, where nearly all of the abandoned stayed. All of them presumably awaiting their death.
He picked up his speed, attempting to catch none of their attention. Yet it was him who was distracted.
Only one person stood in the open of the park. The one person who got him into this mess, thankfully.
They were standing near a light post, shirtless, in the damp freezing wind. Their back faced the road as their front hugged the post. A pair of coarse, broken hands tried to hold any
