About this ebook
Samantha is an ambitious career girl who works at the most demanding law firm in town. Her boss is a stern attorney named Jace Stone who sends mixed messages by acting like a caring humanitarian one minute, and a sadist the next. One thing is for sure, though: between his good looks and renowned reputation, he turns the head of every girl who enters his office. After three years of putting up with Jace’s infuriating behaviour, Samantha decides to stand up to him and challenge his dominance both professionally and sexually.
“Power Play” is an interactive e-book. During Samantha and Jace’s romantic encounter, you will be able to choose which character plays the dominant role and which is submissive.

Samantha laid a billing invoice on top of the thick stack of papers on her desk. Then she took the whole pile and inserted it into a crisp, beige folder labelled Case File #16432 Reese VS Coolidge.
She placed the file on top of the other ten she had finalized that morning and leaned back in her chair with a smile. This was her three year anniversary working at the Law Office of Jace and Stone, and she had become so efficient at her job that she had completed an entire day’s workload in under two hours.
She slid the case file into the drawer below her desk when the door buzzer alerted her to someone entering the foyer. A middle aged, blonde woman carrying a tiny black purse and wearing a red dress with matching heels approached Samantha.
Can I help you?
Samantha asked.
The woman replied, Hello, my name is Kelly Reese, a client of Mr. Stone’s.
Of course, I’m familiar with your case. Congratulations on your settlement. Was there something we can help you with today?
I was in the neighbourhood and thought I’d stop by and drop off the final check for Jace’s representation.
Samantha smiled kindly, Not a problem, but you didn’t need to come all the way down here for that. You could have just mailed it.
Kelly pursed her lips for a split second and continued, I was hoping to give this to Jace personally.
Of course. Unfortunately, Mr. Stone isn’t in at the moment, but I’d be happy to deliver it for you along with your message.
Still holding her purse at her waist, Kelly said, When will he be in?
I haven’t seen him this morning, but his schedule is booked for the rest of the day. Would you like me to schedule an appointment for you?
Samantha glanced over at her computer monitor. Are you available Thursday afternoon?
Kelly tilted her chin up and began to say something but stopped at the sound of the door buzzer behind her. Jace Stone entered the lobby wearing the jet black two piece business suit he usually wore on Fridays. In his hands he carried two fruit smoothies.
As he approached the front desk he said, Morning Samantha. Everything going okay?
Samantha nodded and said, You missed your 9:15. You’re just in time for your conference call with Glen, and you have a walk-in. Ms. Reese here to see you.
Jace looked at Kelly and said, Good morning Ms. Reese. I’d shake your hand, but…
He held up the cups in his hands as an explanation. Congratulations on your settlement.
Kelly smiled at Jace and said, "You deserve all the congratulations. You did all the work. Anyway, I was just in the neighbourhood and thought I’d stop by to drop off your check and thank you personally."
Jace said, "I appreciate that very much. Thank you, Ms. Reese. You can leave
