About this ebook

In a land filled with fire and smoke and endless fighting, where knights fight dragons, there lives a little knight who wants to be big like the others, and fight like the others, and have a sword like the others. But his mother won’t let him. Instead of a sword, she gives him a sunflower, which, as it turns out, can be mightier than a sword.

This is a story about a boy who wants a sword so he can have imaginary fights with dragons. His mother denies him a sword but offers him a sunflower to use as a weapn. When experimenting with the sunflower the boy meets a dragon and they become friends. The art in this book is illustrated like a child's imagination. Basic pictures that enhance the story, bright yellows and oranges used. In the end of the story it shows that even an enemy can become a friend and that in the book this brought peace throughout the land. Great for displaying imagination, fun, and friendship. For students grades k and up.
