Selena rides swiftly west towards the Ruins of Horus, a once great temple that is said to hold the Pendant of Lucifina. The pendant is said to contain almost limitless energy, and the organization for which Selena works wants to use that power to help rebuild Earth's resources. It's location had been hidden for millennia...until now.

But the roar of her motorcycle engine can't drown out the sound of Selena's racing heart. Just hours before the ruins had been found, the beautiful brunette found her boyfriend in bed with Breanna, a gorgeous redhead whom Selena used to call a dear friend. Selena rode swiftly west towards the outskirts of Clysarius, her shoulder length, jet black hair whipping behind her in the wind. Lightning cracked viciously across the night sky, followed closely by an explosion of thunder; but the sounds of the storm were drowned out by the roar of the engine and the thoughts swimming through her head.

She tried to let the hum of her motorcycle wash over her, but the normally comforting tone did nothing to still her racing heart. Rain fell heavily from the black sky, its many droplets sliding down her skin-tight, black leather outfit; but she barely took notice as she sped down the interstate.

Selena was in a bitter race against time; the ruins of Horus had finally been located, believed to hold the Pendant of Lucifina…an artifact that held the power of the devil herself. It was rumored to hold the energy of a thousand suns, but after the fall of the Dark Mistress, the ancient gods had decided the power was too great for the hands of man. It had been buried in the pages of history, shrouded from humanity’s grasp for millennia…until now.

Losaria, the organization for which Selena worked, had been searching for the ruins since she herself had been a young girl. It was their plan to use the power of Lucifina’s pendant to power the world. Earth was quickly consuming the last of its resources; but if Losaria could learn to harness the power of the devil, Earth could finally begin to rebuild faster than it destroyed.

The image of a gorgeous redhead shot through her vision, but she forced her mind clear immediately. Breanna, unlike herself, had been drafted into Losaria from outside the organization. Most members were born into Losaria, molded to fit the organization’s needs; Selena didn’t know the circumstances surrounding Breanna’s inclusion, but she had trusted her superior’s judgement.

Selena had been a young teenager when Breanna had come into the organization. The two quickly became good friends, finding later that their age differed by just a few months.
