Chapter One: Austin

A domme without a sub is not quite whole. It’s not a self-esteem thing, it’s a completion thing. Not in the ‘you complete me’ trite way from the movies but in the yin-yang way. Yes, we are dommes in our own right, by ourselves, and in private when we are alone. It is a mindset more so than a lifestyle. But there is not much point in being a domme without a sub.

So there I was, out on the prowl for a new sub. My most recent girl had had a change of heart and went back to vanilla. I was disappointed but not surprised. Some people have a knack for it and some people want to just try it out. I was pretty good at reading people so I saw it coming a few weeks before she let me know.

There were not too many clubs in town that catered to my particular interests, but I knew the main three well. There were a couple of other ones, but they had less than impressive reputations and I had been in the game long enough to know better.
