The Rolling Stones Quiz Book - Adam Pearson

    Dedication

    For My Mum

    Introduction

History of the Rolling Stones spans the youth of two generations in our family. My mother saw them perform in the very early days at a club in London and I saw them as their time as a five piece band came to an end at Wembley Stadium over twenty five years later.

I became a fan in 1981, when I was fifteen years old. I bought the Tattoo You album and prayed that Start Me Up would go to number one. I thought then that the band were so old but still amazing to still be together after so many years. Little was I to know that they would go on for another thirty one years and would go on to celebrate fifty years at the top.

This book asks questions in order of how the events occurred in the time line of The Rolling Stones, from the birth of the band to its fiftieth year and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did researching.
