- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I got about a quarter of the way through this book before I quit reading it. It is about a time in the future where the earth is dying. This story is very disjointed and hard to follow. I do not identify with the characters what so ever. I rarely put down a book before I finish it, but in this case I could not bring myself to pick it up again and finish it.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5All my wonder at 'Julia, skydaughter' of the same author vanished with this other work.I simply couldn't understand it and abandoned it halfway. Either I'm too dense to copse what the author was trying to convey... or else.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Just as slipstream as the other novels I have read by Dunn, but this was a little more sci-fi instead of fantasy.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I received a copy of this eBook from a LibraryThing giveaway.I couldn't get into the story. I trudged along through the first half.Hoping that maybe it would pick up. Maybe it would start making sense. But by the time I reached Book Two half, I just couldn't go on any further.
