Ishtar tore her court dress. She needs you to replace some owl feathers … A pile of linen and gold-dusted feathers falls to the floor in front of the Weaver. Stray feathers puff free and drift aimless through the air before settling back onto the piled fabric. Gold from the feathers dances like dust motes in the air.

Aphrodite has a rendezvous with Adonis. She wants something sexy … A bolt of whispery, transparent fabric clumps to the floor at the Weaver’s foot. A pail of seashells lands on top; the falling shells rasp like broken pottery pieces.

"That sari
