Eh, I think this story must have been from fairly early in McCray's writing career because I didn't really connect with the characters or plot as I usually do with her stories.Kara Marks lives a boring life with no family (she's an orphan), a safe job (bank loan officer), and volunteer work. When she suddenly begins having hot, wet dreams of a hunky barbarian-type ravishing her...she's pretty sure she needs to see a shrink!Adan has traveled back in time to locate the hidden Crystal his people and planet need. Each time he 'travels', he keeps getting pulled to Kara's vicinity. Each time he finds it harder to part from Kara and erase her memories of him...but he's only here for the crystal...maybe.
