About this ebook

A mother and still a virgin!

Award–winning author Veronica Sattler brings you a compelling story of love in the nineties.

Nurse Randi Terhune has never had a husband or a lover. But she does have a wonderful son, Matt. She never thought she'd meet the boy's father.

Ex–CIA agent Travis McLean has avoided paternity all his life. The McLean family was virtually dysfunctional. Why would a family of his own be any different? But then he meets Matt, the image of himself as a youngster, and Randi, Matt's beautiful mother. Can he come to terms with the past to give them all a future?

Veronica Sattler

Veronica Sattler is the best-selling author of nine historical romances and two contemporaries. A native of New Jersey with an MA in English Literature from Rutgers University, Veronica lives in rural Pennsylvania with her daughter, Alyssa, two sassy cats and an Irish Wolfhound that weighs more than she does. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, Novelists, Inc. and the Writers Union. Veronica's Christie's Rapture (1982) was the first Zebra, ever, to win a Romantic Times Award! Called simply one of "Kathe's Favorites" in those days, the award cited Christie's Rapture as Best Historical Romance by a New Author. Since then Veronica has gone on to win numerous other awards, including RT's prestigious Career Achievement Award (for Historical Romance set in the Regency Period) in 1994 and Affaire De Coeur's "Gold Certificate" for The Bargain (Worldwide Library, 1987, 1993) when it first came out. The Bargain and Jesse's Lady (Worldwide Library, 1986), have come to be regarded as best-selling classics of the genre, enjoying even heftier sales the second time around (when Harlequin reissued them in the '90s). Veronica is currently working on a Regency-set historical, A True Prince, which will be released in December. She is delighted to be writing for Zebra again, and looks forward to writing more Historicals. She loves to hear from readers, who may write to her directly at: 120 James Road, Bernville, PA 19506.
