    Chapter One

Buildings continued to fall apart after each tremor which grew worse by the hour. The city of Union Beach expected the destruction to come towards them, but they were never prepared for it. People ran out of their homes or stores looking to escape the oncoming calamity of what was Doom. A man-made creature created from the depths of Tengoku Island, which ironically meant Heaven in Japanese.

Believed to be created as a last resort defensive weapon by the Japanese as a bribe for the Americans to remove their bases away from their towns. This was widely believed as a myth or conspiracy theory by crackpot former employees who were just looking for their fifteen minutes of fame.

Standing at over one hundred and thirty feet, its arms were longer than its thin torso and its eyes glowed crimson. The monstrosity didn’t have a mouth, but its stare before it toppled a building was just as terrifying as a hundred roars.
