The table was beautifully set with the finest china and the most exquisite of utensils. The centerpiece was a filled with lovely red roses. The candelabras that were placed strategically beside the centerpiece were superb. White unlit candles sat atop the candle holders. Rose petals were scattered throughout the table. Music was softly playing through the air in the dining room, making a perfect ambience. It was the ideal picture for a romantic dinner.

Delicious aromas wafted out of the kitchen as the dinner was being cooked. Spence hoped Ian didn’t mind that he was using the kitchen. He would clean up after, anyway, ideally with Ian there to help later. Spence got off work early and was supposed to call Ian, but he wanted to have a surprise for him. So he went directly to Ian’s place after buying some things and groceries that he needed for tonight. It had been a while since they had really spent time with each other. They were so busy all the time that they would just meet for a quick moment and get back to work.

As soon as the opportunity to get some time off presented itself to Spence he immediately grabbed it. And what better way to do it than a surprise dinner with sex for dessert. Spence had been missing Ian so much, and he realized that he was taking this relationship for granted. So now he needed to make up for it by starting with this. He really did miss Ian, the way his body felt against his own, the way Ian’s lips left him wanting more, and that love stick that gave him pleasures to no end. He missed all that.

Ever since Spence had started to get more traction in his work, his time spent with Ian had diminished noticeably. He was a writer of an advice column and his work was getting recognized as the days went on. He got busier and busier with the amount of letters he needed to answer. Not to mention all the press works of the newspaper company that he worked for. As time went on his work increased to dizzying heights and he was starting to get famous.

But now he knew that he had been neglecting his love. Spence wanted to reignite the spark of their relationship and try to be more attentive this time. He would make this right, now that he realized his mistake. Even if he knew that Ian had a job of his own, he couldn’t help feeling that he was the one responsible for them drifting apart. If only he could turn back time he would, and he would not let a day go to waste. But that was all in the past now, there was no use in staying there. Tonight he was turning over a new leaf in his relationship.

After each food that he prepared was ready, he covered them and went to shower. He couldn’t help remembering all the time he and Ian had spent in this shower. He blushed at the thought. Now was not the time; he needed to be ready in case Ian came home earlier than expected. He used Ian’s body wash and nostalgia hit him like a brick. He really missed this smell coupled with Ian’s own natural scent. He couldn’t wait for later. After dinner they would definitely be having some sexy time. It had been so long for the both of them. Spence was sure that Ian wouldn’t say no to having Spence for dessert.

Thinking about it made Spence excited for what would unfold later after dinner. Both of them would be in for a treat, Spence made sure of that.
