    Preface

This fictional book is based upon authentic information, which dates back to when the Earth was still young. Clay tablets and cylinder seals, found in various museums all over the world tell the story in stunning detail. It’s the story of a superior race of people who were the first intelligent inhabitants of our planet.

The Nefilim arrived on Earth from the planet Nibiru seeking gold, which they needed to suspend in their atmosphere to save their dying planet. They found the mining process was difficult, so they considered their alternatives. Enki, one of the sons of the supreme ruler, Anu, proposed a solution. He and his sister Ninmah, also known as Ninhursag, the chief medical officer of the Nefilim, would combine the seed of the Nefilim with the egg of hominids that inhabited Earth at that time to produce a ‘primitive worker.’ Enki and Ninmah experimented and tinkered with genetic manipulation until they finally were satisfied with the result – Homo sapiens.

Now the story continues into the present day as the Nefilim make their presence known to the modern day world. They have returned to claim what they believe is their rightful planet, Earth! The Nefilim are divided into two factions, one of which wants to help humans overcome their destructive ways, and another faction that will conquer Earth by any means possible.

Professor Josh Summers is recruited, first by the governments of China and the U.S., and then by a peaceful group of Nefilim. The odds favor the hostile faction of the Nefilim, who possess superior technology and weaponry. Follow this exciting tale, which takes many twists and turns, not to mention many locations, including Hong Kong, mainland China, and the U.S. states of New York, Florida, Virginia and ultimately, the upper regions of Earth’s atmosphere and outer space.

The depictions of the Nefilim (most notably Marduk and Inanna) characters may seem outlandish to the first time reader, but I have been extremely careful to stay true to the spirit of the historical records that have been found which describe their many deeds, their conversations, and their overall personalities. The present day events are fictional, but the references to the past, are in fact, on record.

This is Volume Two in The Watchers Series. The story continues…

    Chapter One

    A Violent Beginning

Ninurta gazed intently at his viewing screens.

A mere seventy miles above the Earth's surface, land forms were clearly distinguishable. He had positioned his battleships above the Americas. The on-board cameras were so powerful that they could clearly visualize small objects on the ground. In fact, as he was looking at one screen of a nuclear power plant in Washington State, a cat scurried across a rooftop.

The communications officer suddenly broke the silence. Sir, we are receiving a transmission from the Earthling's space station. Shall I open the channel for you?

By all means, Dagon, let's hear what they have to say.

This is Commander Deale of the International Space Station, please identify yourself and state your intentions.

Commander Deale had already sent a distress signal back to Houston notifying them of the intruders. The astronauts aboard the space station went into action and were carrying out operational duties should they ever encounter an alien craft.

This is Lord Ninurta, from the planet Nibiru. You would be wise to adopt a non-interference policy immediately. That includes any more transmissions to your Earth base. I currently have no plans to disrupt your day unless you prove to be an inconvenience. If you fail to heed my warning, your ship will be neutralized.

Commander Deale looked at Commander Smirnoff. He knew that he had to comply, at least for the moment. The space station was built for conducting experiments, not engaging in battle. There was nothing to be gained by resisting or bluffing. They could only hope to gain valuable information.

We are not looking for a fight, Lord Ninurta. The crew members here on this station are scientists, not warriors seeking a battle. We will cease communications with Earth for the time being, although we will need to contact them before too long.

Ninurta was growing weary of this conversation. You may contact them in three of your Earth hours. Failure to follow my instructions would be most regrettable for you.

The transmission cut off. Houston will have contacted the Pentagon by now and they are no doubt debating their course of action, Commander Deale said to Smirnoff.

Ninurta's attention returned to the screens in front of him. There were six ‘targets’ on them – various facilities in both North and South America that generated power for millions of people. Pinpoint strikes at each of these facilities would render them inoperable and cause widespread panic in the afflicted areas.

This would merely be an opening salvo. The purpose of this mission was to draw out Enki's and Marduk's forces to gauge their level of resistance. Before any further action could be taken against Earth, it was imperative to know the full scope of their enemies’ strength. Enki and Marduk were Ninurta's main concern. Ninurta knew that his weapons and defenses were technologically superior to anything that Earth could counter with.

The convoy of six Nefilim battleships now rendezvoused in the Earth's upper atmosphere above their targets. The coordinates were locked in. The captains of the other ships awaited the command. Ninurta looked at his screens one last time. The order went out.
