I enjoyed this story and I thought it would fit well in the "Engage" section of a 5E unit. The story begins with a question, how do you lift a lion? This is followed by an explanation of levers. It also asks how you might pull a panda on a pallet. Also how you might deliver a bunch of bananas to monkeys in a tree. This story explained many different simple machines, but always placed it in a form of a question that needs to be solved. LOVE.

This book gives a simple understanding of the six simple machines. Teachers can use this book as a hook for their simple machine lessons.
