Every Waking Moment is a perfect example of romantic suspense. This is the fourth book I’ve read by Brenda Novak and every book I read gets better and better. She is great at telling stories that are believable. She develops characters that have such depth and heart. I read this book in almost one sitting, I couldn’t put it down. An outstanding book that I highly recommend!

The author uses her experience with her own son who has Juvenile Diabetes to weave a tale that is very gripping.

This iis a pretty good story where the characters spend a lot of the time travelling by road, throughout Nevada into Iowa. Emma, who is escaping from her violent partner, has with her, her young diabetic son. She meets Preston, who has his own personal agenda, and he relunctantly agrees to help her.
