About this ebook
Alhannasa, a land of beauty and diversity, created by the Most High Goddess, Bodelia. She planned that her ‘children’ those which will inhabit the world she’d made, would rule the land now the time had come for her to leave. The Immortal Council grew restless with her long absence, she knew her duty could be delayed no longer. Yet she wouldn't completely abandon that which she had made. She would leave the Lesser Goddesses, her sisters, to watch over Alhanassa. With the aid of their magic, the mortals would surely flourish.
But even the plans of a Goddess are no match for evil. When an act of betrayal shatters Bodelia’s heart, will she be able to control the need for revenge? Or will the inhabitants of Alhanassa suffer the dire consequences of her wrath. An enthralling new series filled with action, magic, lust and love!
Please note that this book is a very short story containing a little over 4,000 words. It also contains a teaser to the first book in The Sister Hood Trilogy. Which is in the editing stage.

I love reading, whether it's historical, horror, romance, supernatural or suspense, I get totally absorbed. I enjoy a wide variety of authors from Stephen King and James Herbert to indie authors such as: Nicky Charles, Jan Gordon, Candace Carrabus and S C Stephens.I've lots of other interest such as; amateur photography, which I'm not very good at, walking with my dogs and I am a member of the English Heritage and like to visit historical sights. I love steampunk and enjoy creating costumes and attending events. I run a small dressmaking and homemade gift business with my daughter. To keep fit I doing burlesque dancing twice a week. I am religious but I reserve the right not to divulge and I give others the same respect. I find people interesting, how they believe tells a lot about them but I do not judge.I HATE soap operas. I mean really hate them; Coronation farm and Emmadale square; to me watching those is a waste of valuable reading or writing time. I do watch TV, I love things like CSI, NCIS, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Vampire Diaries, Arrow, Sharpe, Startrek, Supernatural and Charmed, I think you get the drift, anything supernatural and sify. My daughters and I go together to see all the latest horror movies at the cinema.I've been writing for years but never plucked up the courage to get my work published. It took me a long time to find an outlet for all the stuff that goes off in my head and then to show it to people. Most have said it is good and want to read more but lets face it, I've only shown my work to family and close friends. As much as I love them and how they have encouraged me, the biggy is what will happen once I publish something? Once it's out there? That is scary, don't you think? My writing is mostly about a magical world called Alhanassa. It came into existence after reading countless historical novels and being troubled by how society treated girls and women. What would it be like if the roles were reversed? A world governed by Queens, Priestess, governesses. Alhanassa is such a place where women rule and magic is a part of everyday life.If you choose to download something of mine, THANK YOU just for even considering it. I nervously sit, metaphorically twiddling my thumbs. (I will be either reading or writing).

Chapter One
Bodelia looked around the meadow she had found to rest in. The haze of the early morning shimmered in a light mist that shrouded the drai'hg and swallows as they frolicked around her. She laughed, the sound musical and echoic. Lifting her right palm she brought forth the power of the sun. In a swirl and hiss of steam the ground below her feet dried at her command. Folding her legs she sat on the warm ground, her ethereal gown draped her body in white. A warm breeze caught the blond curls that cascaded around her shoulders and down her back. Bodelia wrapped one lock around her finger as she watched the drai’hg and swallows play together. Once again the clearing was filled with her melodious laughter.
The swallows stopped their play, flying away in a flurry of wings and chirps. The small drai’hg hovered on their green translucent wings, their curious black eyes looking upon the goddess before them. She thought for a moment on what they would see. Fair, unblemished skin that shimmered with light, long blond curls that looked golden in the early sun, lips as red as blossoms on the roseberry bushes and bright eyes that changed colour depending on her surroundings. Lifting her hand, she beckoned a drai’hg to her with a single thought. Sharp claws encircled her outstretched finger and wrapped its long grey tail around her wrist, the tiny green fin on the end fluttering. It blinked with curious eyes and cocked its spiky head to one side as if to ask the goddess to speak. So she did.
So little dragon imp, what do you see when you look at me?
Its head cocked to the opposite side and a tiny forked tongue darted out to taste the air. Goddess Bodelia beamed at the tiny creature.
Oh I see, to you I am magic, light and intelligence?
She lifted the drai’hg to her lips and kissed the small dragon imp in thanks for the compliment. Knowing it was now dismissed, its translucent wings began to flutter, causing
