About this ebook
DEAD ENERGY: Global oil supplies begin to vanish without a trace! Society starts to crumble, and only geologist Alex Cave can save civilization from total collapse.
While on vacation sailing the waters of the Puget Sound, Alex sees a brilliant flash of light from an oil tanker and changes course to help. He discovers there was no explosion, no one on board, and the oil has vanished without a trace. The mystery of the missing crew grows even more when the bodies are found 100-miles inland in the snow on Mount Baker, and there are no footprints leading in or out of the area.
Crude oil supplies begin to vanish, sending civilization into chaos and pitting human against human. No one knows why or who is behind it, until a man in a hospital describes what he witnessed at a pumping station in the Alaska pipeline and things start falling into place. Cave and his friends begin to formulate a plan, but the only question is are they going to be able to solve this mystery and save civilization before it is too late?
COLD ENERGY: The discovery of an ancient alien artifact is causing extremely destructive weather patterns in the northern hemisphere, and only Alex Cave can save us from another ice age.
A climatologist discovers that a massive sheet of transparent ice in the Arctic Ocean is expanding by thousands of square miles in a matter of minutes, but no one can explain how the water could freeze so quickly. Weather patterns change for the worse, and threaten a catastrophe that will affect the entire world.
As various government agencies struggle to find a solution, they all converge on a single man: Alex Cave, whose previous experience with ancient alien artifacts makes him the only man capable of solving this mystery. As a special adviser to the Director of National Security, Alex is given special powers to find out the cause and preferably prevent a disaster in the making. He is an ex-CIA agent and more than capable of dealing with those who try to thwart his efforts to find a speedy solution.
Alex leads a small band of volunteers in a desperate attempt to remedy the situation before civilization faces ecological disaster, but Alex is thwarted by those in their number who have their own agenda, and the interference of a group of well-organized modern day pirates further complicates their mission to save humanity from extinction.
RED ENERGY: The Yellowstone Super Volcano could erupt, and only Alex can stop the world from entering a global winter.
In part-2 of Cold Energy, Alex is trying to recover an alien artifact from the crater of a dormant volcano when things go horribly wrong. The device is stolen and taken to COBRA, a secret research facility south of Yellowstone National Park. His good friend is kidnapped and forced to assist with the experiments, but their tests are creating adverse effects throughout the park and threaten to cause a super volcanic eruption.
With unexpected twists and turns, including time travel and a mysterious six-foot silver sphere, Alex must fight treachery, betrayal, and his own emotions to save civilization from extinction.
