Darcey Bussell

Darcey Bussell joined the Royal Ballet School when she was 13 and, despite starting later than most of the other students, became a Principal of the Royal Ballet at just 19, at the time the youngest ballerina ever to be given this honour. Darcey received both the OBE and CBE awards during her time with the Royal Ballet, and since officially retiring in 2007 she has teamed up with Katherine Jenkins in the phenomenally successful Viva la Diva. She is married with two daughters.

A rather happy children's story, perfect for little girls who love ballet, and so this is a very solid 3 stars.

It has a little hint of fantasy with the magic shoes, and a lesson on charity from the head of the dance school.

Although a children's book, the writing is remarkably mature and the story is well written. Some of the technical terms would probably cause children to stumble while reading, particularly with the pronunciation.

Darcey Russell you are mean to make this book not free and I could only read a chapter you know some people don't have credit cards to pay and I know a good writer her name is Enid Blyton she is better than you I like your books but you should make them free
