What is Candy Crush?

Candy Crush is an amazing new game that has taken the world by storm, thanks to its highly addictive fun-filled application. The game is designed beautifully, with exciting graphics and a compelling story line that unlocks characters and bonuses along the way to increase the fanaticism as the levels grow in numbers. The other side of its beauty is that is gets increasingly harder as the levels go on, so you feel challenged and excited by the idea of clearing each level.

The game was created for mobile applications, including smartphones and tablets, as well as through Facebook, so members can play along while engaging their social networking friends by swapping scores and lives. It is a variation of the video game developer, King's, first iteration of the game that is available through a browser connection, Candy Crush and is currently the most popular game on Facebook with nearly 46 million monthly users. Lives are provided initially as full through an indicator in the upper-left hand corner of the start screen, which equals five lives in total. They are a reflection of how many times you can play the game until you reach zero, and can also be designated as the number of turns you have. As long as you win, the life stays intact, but if you do not complete the level, the game removes one life from your queue.

Once the lives are depleted, the player will have to wait thirty minutes to receive one new life, unless they would like to pay to rejuvenate all five again – at a cost of $0.99 per refill.
