About this ebook

Siren-demon hybrid bounty hunter Dagan Meyers swore he'd never settle down. His older brothers might've adjusted well to family life, but tying himself to one woman is so not Dagan's bag. Until he meets the gorgeous angel Lina, his brother Ronin's long-lost adopted sister, and can't think of being with anybody BUT her. Too bad Ronin's well aware of Dagan's party-boy lifestyle and won't let him anywhere near his seemingly angelic baby sister.

Living the life of a mercenary has been perfect for Lina, who is still getting over abandonment issues that began when she was orphaned as a child. The last thing she wants is to develop feelings for the smooth-talking man she knows will eventually leave her. But as the whole group battles a growing darkness—a powerful dark fae who's harnessed untold power—Dagan and Lina find that love may be their greatest weapon against t he evil that threatens to destroy them all.

Each book in the Demons of Infernum series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

Keegan and his three half-brothers are half-demon and half something else. All work for an inter-dimensional council as bounty hunters. They are tasked with killing a woman who could bring about the end of the world for not just Earth but for other dimensions as well. The problem is that when Keegan meets her, he just sees an innocent.Brynn has a couple of abilities she’s needed to keep quiet about all her life. She can protect herself by draining another’s energy just by touching them. And if she concentrates on something she touches, she can see images from the item’s history. She’s not aware of her ancestry and that a long-dead ancestor was a high priest and before his death hid a spell in a book that only an heir can activate—to raise an army of undead—and the brother’s demon father wants to get a hold of both and rule the world. The premise and threat are good, as are the action and sexual tension. But the best part of the book doesn’t start until near the end when we physically meet the brother’s father and everything that takes place once the first confrontation begins. The romance left me a little flat; I never felt anything but their desperation to save the other.Overall a decent story with sexy guys who will each have their own issues, apparently with a continuing back-story; at least into the second book.

I need more of these particular siblings!First Date (first 1/3): Hot Half Demons with power! I feel hooked just from the synopsis and the opening chapters pretty much sealed it for me. I need to know these Half Demons!Second Date (middle 1/3): Keegan and Brynn--I am not sure how I feel about them. Sometimes I really want them to get it together and other times I want her to run far away. He has a few personality quirks that tend to nettle at me.Third Date(last 1/3): Keegan you finally grew on me. I mean I am super in love with your brothers but you finally got to me. I am really excited now to continue y'alls story and fight. I think being the first brother up was probably tough but you were awesome in the end.Dating Status: Oh I will be reading on about these brothers! I really fell in love with the rest of them even if it took me a bit with Keegan!

Book Title: Blood of the Demon (Book One )Author: Rosalie LarioPublished By: Entangled PublishingGenre: Paranormal RomanceRecommended Age: 18+Reviewed By: Emily Tuley / AngelsCryHavocBlog Reviewed For: Great Minds Think Aloud Literary CommunityRating: 4 RavensThis was a very strong start to a series, I thoroughly enjoyed the book from the first page to the last it kept me turning the pages to see what happened next. The build up of the characters were nice and tied all in together that kept one wondering what would happen next. You could not help but fall in love with the brothers as they struggled to keep Brynn alive and their bonds close. The story is of Keegan sent to find out if Brynn is the key to the apocalypse. If so he is to keep her and in the event that they have no way to avoid it he’s to kill her. Keeping her is one thing , Killing her is another as Keegan finds himself torn between falling in love with the very woman that could end Earth and all that she is or protecting his brothers, Killing their father and saving the world. Is one life really worth millions? A decision that Keegan finds himself in the middle of having to make and falling desperately in love. Shouldn’t a Demon have a little love too even if most think that they are damned and evil to the world? I suggest that if you want a good flow of writing something in way of Sherrilyn Kenyon or some of the other really well series books out there pick this up and check it out today I know I can’t wait till the next installment.

This is the first book I have read from Entangled Publishing and if all of them are this good I know this is not going to be a publisher I forget! It is also the first book I have read by Rosalie Lario and I already want to get my hands on the next book in the series. Okay, I am jumping ahead of myself, let me back up and tell you about this book before I talk about the next one.Blood of the Demon is the first book in Rosalie’s Demons of the Infernum series. The series focuses on the lives of four half-demon brothers who live in New York and are fighting to rid the world of evil. They serve a council from their world that sends them on missions to protect various planets and its inhabitants. For the purposes of Blood of the Demon, the brothers are protecting Earth from a sadistic demon who also happens to be their father, Mammon. The brother we get the pleasure of getting to know in this book is Keegan. He is the oldest of the four and the one who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is extremely protective of his three brothers and often feels like he let them down by not getting them all away from their monstrous father fast enough. Keegan is very hard on himself and does not give into his own needs, ever. Until Brynn. She is the owner of an art gallery and has a couple talents of her own. She can drain human energy and she has the ability to get the history of an inanimate object just by touching it. She is thrown into Keegan’s world when he kidnaps her, but tells her he is doing it to protect her. Brynn wants to believe him when he tells her it is for her benefit, but she still has a nagging feeling she is not getting the whole story out of him or his brothers. In true paranormal romance fashion we get the viewpoints of our main characters Brynn and Keegan, but there are a couple of other characters who we get to peek inside briefly. The brothers take over a couple of times and even the villain, Mammon, gets to tell his side of the story. The multiple viewpoints are always something I love about this genre and this book was no exception. With the various perspectives we get many facets of the story and it only entices you to read further. It also helps the reader to form an attachment to all four brothers, not just Keegan, which I am sure will be beneficial in future books. The brothers share witty banter that had me laughing out loud. Their relationship served as the comic relief on multiple occasions. It is also clear that they are a very tight knit group and would do anything for each other. I quickly grew attached to the foursome and at the climax of the story I found myself getting choked up because of their close bond and the way they were reacting to the situation they found themselves in. It was easy to see how much they meant to each other and get caught up in the emotional roller coaster with them.Since Blood of the Demon is the first in series, Rosalie does take time to explain the world, but the explanations do not bog down the story or slow the plot. Sometimes first books in series can take too much time to explain the world so, the story building and character connection is lost. This is not case for this book. I was fully engrossed in the mythology and soaking up every detail that Rosalie gave to us.Keegan and Brynn are faced with threats at every turn. They barely have time to catch their breath while they are fighting for their lives, and each other. The action and the romance in this novel are balanced perfectly. Rosalie gives you just enough of each to keep you satisfied, but always wanting just a little bit more. It all leads up to a heart pounding climax that literally had me on the edge of my seat as it unfolded. I started and finished this book in the same day because there was no way I was going to put it down without knowing how it all came to a close.Overall, Blood of the Demon is a fantastic new paranormal romance series that I am dying to get more of. Rosalie left us with resolution for now, but set up the next book nicely. Luckily, I only have to wait until for September for it to come out, which is awesome because I have not had enough of these brothers and cannot wait to dive back into their world. If you are looking for a new paranormal romance that has intriguing new mythology, exhilarating action and some scorching hot romance, then look no further than Blood of the Demon.
