About this ebook
Featuring seven new and reworked stories, this collection of short fiction by emerging author Sarah Grace Logan explores troubled lives and relationships from post-war America to the far-flung future of the human race. These are not comfortable stories. They will challenge your perceptions and leave you with questions after you finish reading.
“Behind her, the world gently rotated in a dark patch of sky.”
Sarah Grace is fascinated with exploring gender and identity in her writing. She loves to challenge herself by writing about people and experiences she has never known, places she has never been, and things which she just doesn't like. She lives and works in Manchester, UK.
"Reading this book took me on a journey through different places, people and my own emotions. She uses words that draw you in as a reader and don’t let you go until you finish that story." - Stephen Walker, reviewer
Sarah Grace Logan
Sarah Grace commands an armada of literary pirates that has ridden the third wave of feminism and is becalmed on a reef of prose poetry and intersectionality. She will heave off soon in search of rougher waters, because she is a wordshark, and to stop moving forwards would be death. She writes prose, poetry, novels and scripts, and loves hard sci-fi just as much as historical fiction, along with a whole range of genres in between. Her obsessions in writing are gender, identity and sexuality, along with aspects of the natural world; insects, earthquakes and the ocean.

About the Author
Humping the Boonies
It had been a long hike, weighed down by the old army-issue tent, and Luke’s legs ached as he crouched to watch his dad skin a rabbit for the first time. His big hands flashed the knife with ease, and sinew snapped against the blade.
Blunt again,
Dad muttered, rubbing a big, thick thumb along the edge. Luke felt uncomfortable, surprised by the return of those hormonal stirrings, and the shame burned his throat. We’ll make a good stew with this.
Dad handed him the knife. Go on, like I showed you.
He took it with fingers that didn’t want to behave. Dad was silent, and Luke swallowed his nerves. His chest started heaving, anxious breath crowding his throat, and he gripped the knife more firmly. Luke angled the blade and started to separate
