This was a little hard for me to get into. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on, and with how short this book is... it was pretty much when I was finished when I grasped it. It did flow nicely, but I just couldn't like the characters or make any connection. I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I received this free eARC in exchange for my honest review. When I first started reading this, I was a little confused. It's a different world where one can go from one location to another using a portal? I think I got that right. It was not as clear as I wanted it to be, but I got the overall idea. This is a very steamy short story that will leave the reader wanting more. I sure did anyway!I liked how loyal Bea was to her duties, but she was also very affected by Turner and was fighting her inner goddess to come out. I think this should have been a little bit longer, but other than that I really enjoyed this book. I think others who are into romance and science fiction topics will also really like this short novella.
