About this ebook

"We the People: Whose Constitution is it Anyway" provides hope for America and asserts that within the Constitution lays the fix for a renewed Constitutional Republic.

This book was written in the format of a pamphlet, like Common Sense by Thomas Paine, with the same exigency. Americans no longer question the roles, responsibilities, powers, and actions of the Federal government. Consequently, "We the People: Whose Constitution is it Anyway" fills the many voids for today’s Libertarians; it calls upon Republicans and all good Patriots to realign with “republican or founding” principles and calls out the secular progressive for their failed communist ideologies, which are destroying America. Methodically, "We the People: Whose Constitution is it Anyway" builds the case that under the nose of the American public, the secular progressives within the Federal Government has erected a national church based upon their ideologies and that these ideologies have been inculcated into the American culture as main stream thought for several decades.

"We the People: Whose Constitution is it Anyway" is a play book for Patriots to organize and transform grass root organizations like the Tea Party into a formidable movement of individual liberty and sovereignty.

Madison clearly argued the need for the Republic to return to Constitutional Conventions when our Federal Government steps beyond its enumerated boundaries. However, "We the People: Whose Constitution is it Anyway" asserts there is no need to send delegates and assemble in a central location for what could become a target of opportunity for enemies to undermine or attack the Republic. Brilliantly, "We the People: Whose Constitution is it Anyway" pushes the conventional roles of a Republic into twenty-first century technology to return more controls back to the States and the people.

    Preface

If one is looking for a great literary work such as the Iliad or War and Peace within the cover of this book, then this is the wrong book. The intent of this book was not to compose an epic novel, but to offer Constitutional hope to those who believe that individual liberty in America is in peril. The United States was designed and built by the framers who recognized and sought divine providence in their affairs of governance. Though many may believe the volumes of books that paint the inevitable doom, there is still a bright future for the republic, and this book, which is the first in a series of at least seven in total, will submit the argument as to where to begin. This book uses a factual and Constitutional approach to place America back on track as a nation that once again will promote individual liberty and sovereignty. Yes, there is a lot of work, but as one will read, the answer to this quagmire the States and the Republic.

    The States have either:

    Neglected their job.

Been lulled in to believing that they held a subjugated role in the Republic.

Well the point in fact, is that if America is going to save the Constitution then they can no longer side step their responsibilities in the republic, or:

The remaining rights and privileges we as a sovereign people will be finally striped away for good.

The contract we made in creating the Federal government will be rendered useless.

Americans will be subjugated to a new form of government, one in which most freedom loving Americans will hate.

For those who still read the prefaces, there will be some repetition in the beginning of the first section to help clarify the reason for the raw nature of this book. As the author (non-professional author), I had to make a decision as to polishing off this book with professional editing and rewriting to the common readers grade level (i.e. 6th grade), or simply have a proof reader work this into readable material. Having been counseled and admonished by a few to take the time to rewrite to an appropriate reading level, and in essence completely rewrite this book; as an American, I felt the exigency of getting this series out paramount to presenting a solution to the Republic and its’ citizens. Therefore, I subscribed to the thought that better is the enemy to good enough.

If one has really looked at the past Presidential elections, how can anyone continue to believe that Americans are choosing its leaders anymore? Furthermore, is anyone intrigued to hear politicians and pundits make comments about getting back to a Constitutional government, yet they cling to the unconstitutional status-quo? Less than half the citizens are voting, and worse the winner, typically wins with less than one third of the electorate. Somehow the media considers these wins as mandates, like those who win traffic tickets because the citing officer does not show up to court.

In 2012, Obama won with less than 30% of the electorate and less than 20% of the population. Do these numbers seem like mandates and a full acquiescence of We the People? No, America has transitioned into a highly divided society of special interests and self-serving zealots. As one can see with the pompous inaugurations of the last few decades, they have become more and more of a coronation of what will be described as a divine leader of the National Secular Church.

Two adages on ignorance states, ignorance is bliss and the other states ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law; therefore, many Americans are either content with their complacency in participating in the election process, or they are culpable in their utter failure to take part in their obligation. There is a simple solution for this, but suffice it to say the primary reason so many highly educated and successful authors are lamenting and publishing works of the degrees of doom is because they cannot either see the forest through the trees or fail to see the Easter egg within our founding documents.

We have time to heal the Republic, but time is not a luxury, and with the last election, the Republic is truly on a path that will soon result in transforming our Constitutional Republic to a nation that will likely become a subcomponent to some new global governance. Since President Arthur, concepts from Dante’s "De Monarchia" to Adam Weishaupt’s Illuminati have begun to take form throughout the globe and here in America. Today, the Federal Government has unconstitutionally gone so far beyond the Constitutional boundaries and limitations that many functions, operations, and departments have placed America at risk of being sued and convicted in International court for violating our Constitution. There are too many to list, but for a recent example, the guns which were used to kill Mexican citizens in operation Fast and Furious were sold in direct violation to Constitutional Law, without an appropriate Congressional authorization. It seems apparent that each branch has conveniently forgotten about the Federal checks and balances, as well as the States checks over the Federal government. Another example would be our immigration laws that are being changed unconstitutionally without Congressional approval as specific illegal aliens are given a disparate advantage over other nations. In this case, citizens from all other nations who are disparately and adversely impacted could sue for citizenship and equal consideration and treatment.

Nevertheless, in context to the existing framework of our Constitution it is not an accident that we have drifted so far off course. What we are experiencing as a nation has taken well over a century to get us this far off course. There have been many contributing factors and events that were either manufactured or used as fulcrums to lift or slowly remove our individual liberty and sovereignty. One such fulcrum is the education system. Today, our education system teaches history, math, economics, law, and the sciences as well as a plethora of other professional and artisan courses. Unfortunately, when it comes to American history, reality and the truth are the last things an American will learn and this is a primary reason why Americans are so oblivious to their own government and its framework. By the way this book will show that this was the design for over a century as Fabian socialists monopolized the education system.

In the last half century, the quality of the public education system has transitioned from marginal to dismal. From the author’s perspective, the young and thirsty for knowledge are subdued and inculcated today by soothsaying and second hand sellers of bad ideologies. Our youth are pummeled with perilously false doctrines by those in supposed authority or the intelligentsia (a self anointed few who know what is better for America than the individual citizens). If all goes well from academia’s perspective, we all come to an accord of their ideologies and accept this as the norm, to live by and within their status quo. One could consider this insistent change control in breaking down righteous values of the family and our Judeo-Christian society the same as the metaphor boiling the frog.

This is the gradual loosening that Hayek spoke about or what Robert Higgs refers to as the ratcheting down affect, which slowly encroaches upon and encases an individual’s liberties and sovereignties. Section III will delineate this process initiating at the end of the nineteenth century and slowly increasing the heat or pressure upon America’s mores. Thus, as one looks at the current events in the United States, this nation is constrained by the polarization of special interests in almost every aspect from agriculture to zoology. Stated differently, America is fundamentally divided politically and philosophically in a multitude of ways; unfortunately, there are distinctly disparate levels of: 1) literacy and education, 2) mores and societal values, 3) spirituality and morals, 4) financial wherewithal and affluence, and 4) passion or emotional apathy. But what is new?

If one believed that during the birth of the greatest nation that has ever existed and functioned on the face of the earth that all the citizens harmoniously agreed, then one has been miss-informed and like most everyone has a lot to learn. Furthermore, the Framers were widely divided upon matters such as religion and this book should change the reader’s paradigm as to what the author asserts as the founding of a National Secular Church by the Federal Government and its fight against Christian’s freedom of religious expression. Therefore, the reader should be able to conclude that this church is a primary source and driver behind the despotic movement that has our nation fixated on false and flawed principles.

This is what brings the author to this point of writing a series of books. There is a tactile shaking of the ground from a pending collision between insanity and reason within America. During the American Revolution, John Adams pointed out to Abigail that many of the authors of his time were either complaining about issues and circumstance, or appealing to peoples passions to react without an end or solution. We see this today in the form of literary, journalism, entertainment, education, and even the Federal Government, which has contrary programs and self-effacing policies. Therefore, what John Adams attempted to do was try to author positions with a positive tone, providing a recommended course of action. Regardless of his success or shortcomings, the author finds an awesome array of ideas and rants about what ills America, or excellent resources of facts and philosophies of past and present. However, none provide a detailed strategy that can place the Constitutional Republic back into its’ rightful role and on a designed course to heal our afflicted Federal government.

Consequently, the author has painstakingly compiled a series of evidence, precedence, and arguments that lean upon many great authors and reference materials that have been ignored by too many who espouse to teach American Civics, History, Government, and our Constitutional Law. The ideas and information taught are incorrect. The documents ignored were not only the Constitution, but what the author submits were the mediation and arbitration documents that were presented to each State during the ratification process that elucidated the explicit meaning of the Constitution line by line, as well as the published and promulgated articles to further dispel misinterpretation and myths about the powers and purpose of the Constitution. Fortunately, a few today, have dug into these documents and many have identified other documents and have pointed out lucid and detailed arguments about very specific points, such as the nullification process. Therefore, in writing this book the author feels he has stood on the shoulders of giants, both historic and current, and feels obliged to 1) recognize these authors’ contributions and at the end of the book are the references of all citations and 2) state the obvious from his observations and perspective. Unfortunately, too few have either come to the same conclusion or have yet to make the connections, as to what it will take to fix the Constitution and fix the child government.

So what the author has done is presented the book in a format that hopefully fosters an understanding as to the criticality of individual liberty in our society and culture, and its divine origin. As American’s, we not only have a right to individual liberties, but an obligation to protect and defend it. This obligation comes from a spiritual, moral, and ethical endowment that Jefferson eloquently penned into the Declaration of Independence. Once one can fathom the onus placed upon our citizenship, the next logical step is to spell out the what, why and how we ended up with a Constitutional Republic, by what the author will refer to as a Hybrid Constitutional Republic, unlike Rome, Great Britain, the Dane’s or even the Germen Republic, our Constitutional Republic is unique in several ways. The third step for the reader is to take a close look at the obfuscation of the Republic especially as individuals, parties and special interests within the Federal Government have usurped, subverted, and perverted the powers roles and responsibilities delegated to it from its’ parents (the States). Finally, the author will expound upon the process and several critical things that need to occur to begin moving as a union again. Interestingly, there is already enough support in a several States to do many things; there is only a lack of organization and vision for the union.

Therefore, the intent of this book is to instill hope, vision, and clarity and help return the Republic to what made this Republic the greatest nation in history. Within a few decades, return the liberties our forefathers once enjoyed and share these liberties and sovereignty further than even the framers envisioned. Yes, America can separate itself again from the grips of internal, as well as external threats of oppression and tyranny. This will require faith, humility, vigilance, and sacrifice. We can no longer ignore the empirical data available and the corrective course of action.

With the premise that reasonable people equally informed seldom disagree, the problem is not that most American’s are not reasonable. The author believes that at least 80% of Americans are reasonable. So the problem has to be the equality in information. The author believes Americans are capable of recognizing the truths about their origins, and once they look at the data objectively, they will see the destructive course that division and divisiveness has lead it thus far, which is on the path of Socialism. Especially, because America has remained on this course on and off for over 150 years; and as Friedman, Hayek, Mises, Sowell, and many others have pointed out, that the worlds reiteration of these fatally flawed ideologies has provided a large pile of empirical data to examine. Moreover, it is not only in our best interests, but in the interest of our future generations, as well as the world, that we again as States coalesce and return the Republic to its bedrock of individual liberty and the three tiered sovereignty that our framers established. Consequently, this series of books is to provide a level of information that can place most Americans onto an equal plain. The only thing that this book and the subsequent books will not be able to do is set aside individual biases; however, if the alleged 80% are lovers and supporters of individual liberty, we can easily find common ground within the Republic to do the difficult task of coalescing and collaborating as a Republic again, and move our Constitutional Republic into the twenty-first century.

Are we to believe the status-quo from talk show hosts, journalists, or political lawyers, pundits, and party leaders that these are the only people who have the insight to lead America? No, and the truth is, we have been moving off this course at a greater degree and at an accelerated pace since Reagan, as the entire world is also spinning towards catastrophic collapse, capitulation, or bankruptcy. One may think that the owners of the microphone possess a monopoly on this nation’s direction and course. To that end there is truth, since the distraction has been about parties, division, nationalism and being retained within their market space.

Too common are the words this nation lacks leadership or we need to return to a Constitutional Government, because those who state these words are pointing to big government as the solution. If one is stating that America lacks leadership on the national forum, then one is proposing that the National Government should do more. However, if one is asserting that there is a lack of leadership from the States. Then the author would agree, for a Constitutional Republic to be successful leadership must come from the Republic, or the general (Federal) government begins to usurp powers to do what they believe is necessary. This is why this book will be presented with the perspective, that unless the States authorize the role, responsibility, or power the assumption by the general government is unconstitutional. In context to returning to a Constitutional government the connection to the Republic is always missing in almost all references that the author can recall. Each time these words are uttered they are always in the setting that still leads to big government solutions.

Have we forgotten our origins or have we been taught a lie? The answer is simple, ask yourself and ask everyone you know what type of government do we have? Inevitably one will find we are a nation that believes we are a democracy. Most college text books today fail to point out that America’s government is a Constitutional Republic, and the education system marginalizes or removes the role of the States and focuses on a national government and popular democracy. This is precisely what the framers warned against. Though everyone can see the aliment and the pending problems or doom for America, either no one can see the vaccine or lacks the courage to take those critical steps to apply the cure and return to republican principles (not the party).

What the author has yet to hear in the plethora of books and speeches is a succinct plan. One cannot read every book though. Consequently, one may exist; however, it thus far has eluded the author the mainstream, and those champions of conservative thought. Therefore, the author hopes to offer a sound argument to returning the hearts of the citizens of America to what the author will call a Constitutional Orthodoxy, to reframe our Republic within the context of our Constitution, or to appropriately amend it, so the Federal government is aligned with new enumerated powers. The intent is to clearly define what we, the people, and the States want the Federal Government to have the power to do. What our framers and the founding States did not do, was give this government unrestricted license to do what it wants.

One must remember that those in control of education will control the future thoughts and ideals of society; therefore, as soon as education began to organize in the nineteenth century, progressive ideologies have been slowly inculcated into the minds and hearts of students around the world. This is why television programming is being tailored and framed to propel the progressives’ agenda. Mainstream channels such as ABC, NBC, and CBS televise biased news, and channels like Nickelodeon are being purchased to inculcate or brainwash children into believing the progressives’ destructive propaganda.

As one reads the first Section, one may have difficulty with the authors focus on religion and the historical narrative. The intent is not to assert or advocate a specific religious faith, but in asserting the origins of liberty have a divine origin, one must support this argument with citations and analysis. From the beginning of creation the gospel was based upon authority; therefore this book will challenge the reader’s paradigm of what they have considered the authority of the Priesthood and ultimately this leads to the necessity for the gospel to be restored in the last days as asserted by the author as the third epoch. Furthermore, the founding of America had an instrumental role in establishing the third asserted epoch of the gospel of Christ. This epoch is the restoration of the gospel by what Sir Isaac Newton called angelic ministry.

Many Christians believe the world is quickly heading towards Armageddon. Therefore, as one reads this book, one should see author assert that the bedrock of the gospel was not simply the word. Based on exigencies and time, the specific intent in this initial book is to point all Christians to the fact that this Republic instilled a Constitution, which was built upon the two principles of individual liberty and sovereignty. Consequently, the fact that these two principles are being threatened today by politicians and their champions in the media who are corrupt and self-serving; thus, this should serve as a warning sign of for all good Christians as to urgency to coalesce on the principles of liberty and sovereignty. Nevertheless, an independent book will be written once this series is complete that will focus more on theological matters. May it suffice to say that Providence has and still can play a role in our nation’s principles of individual liberty and sovereignty and save our Constitutional Republic.

The author does not claim to be perfect, and is not without sin. Only one man has been perfect, and we all must acknowledge that we all have dragons to slay. To that end, in writing a book of this nature, one should expect an assault upon the author, but the author hopes it is an assault on the ideas and ideologies as to which are, and are not best for our Republic. We all can find flaws in the individual; therefore, the character assassination will be the only leverage and tool progressives possess, since they cannot refute the thousands of years of empirical data. Therefore, the only traction in thwarting America from implementing proposed fixes, like the one provided in this book would be to attack the source and ignore the issues. Consequently, as one who believes in Jesus Christ as our one and only Savior, the author is thankful for his Gospel, and principles of repentance and forgiveness. In paraphrasing Christ, let those without sin cast the first stone. Therefore, let’s move on to the substantive issues for discussion.

Finally, forgive this raw nature of this book and the following books, and let those interested in reversing the current direction coalesce as the framers did and have the difficult discussions, before the spendthrift Federal government removes our ability as a Republic to engage. Then the only course of correct would require a revolution. One can point fingers at each party as this book will, but our paradigm as a nation has been asked for so long that we no longer recognize the many unconstitutional actions of the Federal Government and the failings of the States. There is plenty of blame to go around, and the only reason to point out the obfuscations is to support the premise that only the vested founders can fix the existing mess.

Section I: Historical Narrative of Liberty

    The Origins of Liberty

    Preamble

America has been fighting a Civil War of two disparate ideologies for well over a century. The problem thus far has been only one side has been mobilized in its attacks and it has been gaining ground exponentially. The force or ideology that has been gaining most of the ground and advantage is the secular progressives and the opposing side is divided in so many ways due to special interests that they have been unable to coalesce or assemble and organize. Many authors, pundits, and brilliant people see the war as lost; however, the author is optimistically hopeful, that there is still time to take the republic back. The problem is that too many people have been misinformed and mislead by the progressives, because they have controlled the schools and the media for a long enough period that they now control the message.

Based on the premise, that reasonable people equally informed seldom disagree (this saying will be repeated throughout this book), the author believes that the majority of Americans are reasonable people. Then why don’t they all agree, or is this simply a subjective matter, one of choice and taste. Because this is an objective matter and this is how the framers were able to coalesce and create the greatest nation in the history of the world. Therefore, the challenge is to get Americans equally informed. Consequently, the author has assembled information that:

Will establish the divine origins of liberty.

Proves our framers created a nation of individual liberty with safe guards to keep the government from becoming tyrannical

Within the Constitution is an Easter egg that can revive America again

We as citizens have a sacred responsibility to coalesce as our framers did and work together using the Constitution to fix America.

America is a nation of laws and is the only nation that has codified its citizens and the States within the Republic as the sovereigns of the land. If one believes that the functioning Federal government is within scope and compliance to Constitutional laws then the following pages may 1) alarm, 2) inform, and 3) inspire the reader to become a Patriot. A patriot is not one who simply supports his country – a patriot is one who will defend and protect its codified laws and processes from enemies foreign and domestic. Elected servants also take an oath to also defend and protect the Constitution; however, too many either do not understand the existing Constitutional framework or do not care if they violate it to meet their agenda or noble ends. Therefore, those who understand the existing Constitutional Republic, these folk should be able to testify that the Federal Government has overstepped the boundaries defined by the Constitution.

One reason why America is such a great nation is its separations and protections placed into the Constitution, which enabled each branch to check and counter unauthorized assertions of power. In addition, the Constitution gives the sovereign’s (the citizens and States) the power to step in and take control as well. The States possess the most important role with regard to the taking control. The framers knew mans propensity for corruption, which is why they inserted what one could call the nuclear option of fixing the Republic within Article V of the Constitution. Executing the nuclear option is obviously one thing that requires prudence and reverence for the Constitutional Republic. Therefore, this will require bringing the majority of the citizens of each State to a fundamental level of information and understanding of the framers intent as the common folk did during the Constitutional ratification process. One does not need to be a Constitutional scholar, or a lawyer to do this, one only has to be a citizen and a patriot. This is because our framers knew that the majority of Americans were simple folk and not fully educated in matters of law, government, or philosophy. This is why they wrote a simple and straight forward Constitution and provided interceding or illuminating documents, testimony, and evidence elucidate the precise meanings and intents of the Constitution to the States and their citizens during the ratification process. Moreover, the integrity and precedence the framers set during the first six Presidencies or 40 years of functioning as a nation is awe-inspiring.

What perplexes and frustrates the author is the apathy and indifference displayed by many good citizens, who avoid getting involved by avoiding jury duty; thus surrendering their right to vote. By giving up this responsibility for the sake of avoiding personal inconvenience, they believe they are better off; however, as explained later, those who do this are also surrendering their liberty as well. In context to the aforementioned frustration, the only reason good citizens would sacrifice their liberties and sovereignty, to avoid an inconvenience is because they do not understand the importance of liberty or one sacred honor in defending theirs and for that matter everyone’s liberty. Nevertheless, the Federal Government has not only overstepped its Constitutional boundaries, through unconstitutional programs and a socialist ideology, America is approaching the brink of financial capitulation as good citizens hide from their responsibility.

A contributing factor to America’s predicament is the censorship of information and the slanting of both World and American history and critical ideologies of Republicanism, Natural Law, and Gods Law. This revised history has obscured the role of individual liberty, which has made America so successful. According to Alexis de Tocqueville who used the term great and Adam Smith’s usage of formidable, as they both described America’s potential, which proved to incredibly accurate. Since Aristotle, noble men have attempted to establish unencumbered individual liberty, all of which ended up failing due to design flaws or the evil doings of those with political or religious power.

Another contributing factor to our subversion and deviation of the Republic has been the failure to challenge the opposing ideologies to republicanism and Christianity. The assailants attacking individual liberty have cloaked themselves under the guise of tolerance and Constitutional freedoms. Thus far, all efforts have successfully undermined America, and the reason for this can be directly contributed to their monopolizing the control of the message. As this book will contend, this ideology has been in direct conflict with individual liberty since the beginning of time and the aforementioned civil war of ideologies is simply a reiteration.

As Western Philosophies began to develop and evolve these two ideologies have morphed and migrated into what the author will assert one ideology to be Platonists, Fabians, Socialists, Communists, Theocratic, or fascists – to name a few terms that define it. The other ideology is simply one of individual liberty and sovereignty. The later ideology in its purest form is one of unencumbered liberty. The former has varying degrees of oppression and the most extreme is enslavement. Conversely, the author asserts – Civil society is dependent upon the symbiosis between its fundamental principles of liberty, responsibility, and accountability. When these principles are balanced with the individual citizens, they act as a catalyst in elevating synergy within the community and society; therefore, civil society in dependent upon the retention of liberty and sovereignty for each citizen.

Due to the fact that this book is presented in a textbook or reference book format, many readers may find it difficult to read, because it will not flow in a simply storyline format. The primary reason for this is to provide actual references, arguments, and quotes for the reader, which some arguments will span across each section such as the National Secular Church. Consequently, it is imperative to build ones perception on reference material instead of paraphrasing and simply taking the authors word for something. Therefore, the intent is to adjoin upon and reinforce one’s testimony as to what our founding documents really were and what they stated.

Obviously, most Americans are concerned with our future as a nation. Thus, the exigency in offering a Constitutional solution that America can once again coalesce to save the Republic. Based upon our current circumstances, time is of the essence. Since it takes a while to change a culture the author and many who have supported the author have asked to get the ideas out immediately to initiate intercourse and collaboration. This has left no time to for detailed editing of this book and it’s following six books. Consequently, once the series of seven books have been completed, this book and the following books will be edited to incorporate additional ideas and to improve the readability. Therefore, the author appreciates ones forbearance for any and all failings in grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. due to the limited time it has taken to go from concept to publishing, since the author is a novice in writing books and publishing. As a recovered liberal (who among us who has risen from the public education system has not been inculcated with secular progressive ideologies), the author believe that once the framers ideologies of liberty is placed into context as a comparison to what the secular progressive’s ideologies, the healing can begin for those Americans who were also inculcated with biased misinformation that has undermined and countered our culture of individual liberty and sovereignty.

    Book Section Overview

    Section I

Section I will provide a historical narrative of liberty as a divine right. This is paramount to the reader and our nation, in understanding why our framers and founding States rebelled against a decent government for its time, compared to all other governments that were colonizing the world at the time. To do this, one must deal with the origins of man and contrast the ideologies of creation verses evolution. This is imperative, due to the monopoly of thought within the education system and a methodical process of inculcating children for decades with progressive ideologies. In an effort to avoid preaching, there are many significant items of religious history and relevance that is not included in this book and a separate book will be written to address religion specifically; however, religion (specifically Christianity) were instrumental in the development and establishment of the United States. Therefore, this book will include a high-level perspective of the gospel of Christ as Locke and others debated authority and the divine order of government.

Section I will establish three epoch’s of the gospel as mankind transcends time and societies. As a comparative to science and historians philosophies as to how they explain the history of civilization, there are some comparative ideas and arguments that challenge these theories as strictly based upon presumption. This section also covers liberty in societies and the movement of enlightenment from the fall of Christ’s Church to the founding of America and the development of opposing gospels and doctrines to Christ’s Gospel.

Fundamentally this Section should congeal the importance of liberty for the reader, and the imperative need to defend unencumbered civil liberty that is directly coupled to responsibility and accountability and that every Christian and American citizen has a sacred responsibility to protect individual liberty and sovereignty. As one will see in Sections II and III, all citizens need to elevate their States role in the Republic and begin to take back the rightful role of sovereignty at the State level, and recognize the threats to liberty as one begins to challenge progressive ideologies and core values.

In concluding with Section I, the reader should possess enough core doctrines that will facilitate paradigm shifts. One such shift should be the reader’s fundamental understanding of Christianity. Another shift should be the essential role liberty must have within our governments, (e.g. local, State, and Federal). Therefore, as the reader continues through Sections II and III, the reader should then see the importance of action and defending liberty through the suggestions submitted in Section IV.

    Section II

Section II will cover the fundamentals of government and how innovative the framers were in establishing the United States. Furthermore, Section II points out how our framers understood the propensity of an uneducated population, which is one reason why they retained the States as direct sovereigns over the Federal government. As Europe and the history of democracy had proven, there were too many swings was left to the States instead of the people to alleviate the ability of Federal usurpation and allow the citizens to vote with their feet as well.

More importantly, Section II covers the founding documents in context of the Constitutional contract law, the intent and process. The Constitution was doomed to fail as it went to the States for ratification, because it was an endeavor that was outside of the scope of the States intent to simply amend the Articles of Confederation, not redefine the general government completely. This is why the Convention had to send it to the States for ratification (i.e. reject or accept it). It was no secret what happened, thanks to the efforts of retaining these important records and documents. Section II and all the remaining sections will refer to these founding documents and governmental precedence, which will build the case that America, is in direct violation with its highest laws.

    Section III

Section III will take the reader through the obvious problems and many less obvious problems that arose in America’s history that has indirectly and directly taken the Republic off course. This includes the omission of emancipating slaves at the birth of America, and moves to abridge individual rights and the usurpation of States power and sovereignty. As such, a large percentage of Americans will learn things about America and leaders for the first time, and will begin to see the power of the acclaimed hybrid Constitutional Republic, and where it went wrong and how it has been undermined.

    Section IV

Section IV provides the founding conclusion as to how to fix the Constitutional mess that the government placed the republic into and the only way to quickly fix these problems. A few decades ago the sentiment in America was it most citizens would rather be dead then red. A question one may cogitate in reading this book; does America still have the resolve and fortitude to fix this problem? The author is banking that the majority of America is reasonable and does have the fortitude; however, somehow, America has been driven by minorities (not racial) and special interests for over a century, as Section II, III, and IV point out and once the reasonable or the majority finally conclude that the perilous path America is on will destroy the first and only nation Of the People, and by the People, America will finally lean again upon the Constitution to not only fix our Constitutional problems but to bring the Republic into the twenty-first century.

    Preamble Conclusion

In an effort to help prepare the reader, since most readers do not bother with the preface, this section will try to tie together very significant events in a macro perspective that support the argument of creation and Christianity, and provide argument against the current historical paradigm and monopoly of thought in the education system regarding evolution. Although these interdependent or disparate events may be perceived as aberrations or unique independent occurrences; the author will marry these events in an overarching relationship as a part of the plan. Everyone knows that the Chinese invented gunpowder; however, for centuries they saw no need to innovate gunpowder for advanced weaponry, and had they simply abandoned this, history would have been written much differently. Therefore, the author will reference and cite a plethora of books and resources to substantiate these ostensible associations and connections to a single plan. This plan is founded upon liberty as the integral component for America and mankind. As such, one should consider this book as a call to action for Americans who are lovers and defenders of liberty. Whether one is affiliated with Christianity or not, this book is a call for all to do as our framers did, and put aside our differences to defend and restore our liberty. In addition, this nation is not beyond saving and if it is to be saved, it will require sacrifice by all.

The author’s intent is to provide a book that instills optimism; that there still is hope for our Constitutional Republic. American can return to prosperity without subjugation to political correctness, theocracies, socialism, and special interests. It will require individual enlightenment, and adherence to the principle of collaboration for the common good, which is a fundamental principle of Natural Law. Through dignity, respect, and collaboration between the people and the States, America will again be grounded on the path that the framers originally designed. Therefore, Sections II and III will ground this design down better than what one has received in the public education system. Finally, once the reader reaches Section IV, the conclusions and recommendations should not only make sense, but should propel those with contrary ideologies into the light, and expose their paths in directions of tyranny, oppression, despotism, and ultimately slavery.

    Background

What American cannot resonate with the immortal statement by Jefferson that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, which among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness (Jefferson, 1776, para. 2). Granted those who self aggrandize with agnostic ideologies, or maybe those who find spiritual solace in atheism may be insulted with Jefferson’s assertion of a Creator, but do they argue that a person does not possess certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness (Jefferson, 1776, para. 2)? Therefore, if the later or a non-Christian chooses to argue that mankind does not possess these unalienable rights, it is seldom heard or clearly stated. Conversely, those who do not adhere to the principle that we were endowed with unalienable rights by our creator, assert as ancient philosophers did, that rights come from the community not from nature, and that man is born a slave not free. Therefore, to anchor upon the origins of liberty and individual rights and sovereignty one must first pray, fast and seek for them self the truth. If one concedes to the argument that liberty and rights come from the community, is this their consent that they can and will surrender these rights for themselves? Of course not, they expect others to surrender their rights!

As centuries and millennia have passed, higher levels of enlightenment have been gradually achieved, where western society has ultimately evolved to defining these rights for all mankind. Consequently, this has become the catch 22 (or a problematic situation which the only solution destroys the end sought) for the non-Christian, who argue that they have the right to argue against this ideology to silence it or censor Christian expression; thus, translating these words of inalienable rights into a universal truth. Today, those who seek to destroy liberty cloak themselves with these very rights, attempting to usurp these rights away from others. With anarchy and instability growing in America and the world, one can analyze the causes and the role governance contributes to ad nauseam. Suffice it to say, there are basically three end states of governance for the governed; in America’s case: We the People.

The first is a state where individual liberty, responsibility, and accountability are paramount in a free and just society. The other two are varying degrees of diminished liberties/rights, responsibility, and accountability for an individual, which typically leads to outright oppression and slavery where the individual has neither a right to life, liberty, property or sovereignty. Historically, these varying states are violent thrusts back and forth from anarchy and tyranny. Once citizens begin to recognize that liberties are being taken or lost from tyranny, civil unrest begins to be prevalent (such as today’s tea party protests or civil rights protests of the 50s and 60s). Even though these have been lawful peaceful assemblies and demonstrations of citizens with grievances who are working to retain their natural rights and their power as the true government, these protests are symptomatic of a loss of liberty.

On the heels of lawful protests one can see the use of anarchists who try to obfuscate issues and redirect them towards empowering government (e.g. the occupy anarchists). This was done in France, Russia, Germany, and many other countries to invoke a significant change or shift in power. Based upon the theme or the central messages displayed by today’s protestors, one can discern which camp they fall into: 1) Civil unrest with direct centralized articulation of grievances of government powers and regulations. 2) Lawless uprisings who seek to increase government roles, powers, and regulations. The former camp wants to restore liberties and the later wants to obfuscate issues so that more liberties are taken or lost.

Civil society is dependent upon the symbiosis between its fundamental principles of liberty, responsibility, and accountability, as well as the rule of law. When these principles are balanced with the individual citizens and the Constitution, they act as a catalyst in elevating synergy within the community and society. As the leading society America enjoys the freedom of speech, yet we have laws to hold those responsible and accountable for their speech; therefore, if one yells fire in a theater and there is no fire, that person will be arrested, charged, tried and convicted for inciting imminent lawless actions.

True liberals (as Jefferson defined it) support, assert, and fight for individual liberty and freedom as those citizens who participated in the American Revolution fought and died. John Adams differentiated the period from 1763 to 1776, and the American Revolutionary War which began in 1776. The differentiation is important to note, because this was the awakening of the citizens of the independent States that the seat of government (the King of England and Parliament) was exercising oppressive and despotic rule. The Oxford Dictionary defines Liberal in political context as Supporting or advocating individual rights, civil liberties, and political and social reform tending towards individual freedom or democracy with little state intervention. Today, liberals fear individual freedom and seek to empower the state with all powers and limit individual rights with the intent of social reform to a Statist form of government.

A liberal today is the antithesis of what was once taught. When one hears liberals or liberalism in today’s context, it represents socialism and severe constraints against the individual. Modern day liberals seek to institute disabling social programs such as health and human services (e.g. welfare, unemployment insurance, social retirement accounts), which creates a divisive environment enabling entitlements at the hands of a tyrannical government undermining liberty and the self worth of the individual. Thus, patronizing classes and groups of people, convincing them that they need government to either have an opportunity, or that they are and will always be dependent upon the dole. In every case, this leads to the destruction of wealth and ultimately lives.

Though the comparison of these two basic camps (true liberals and today’s self-acclaimed liberals) will be addressed in more detail in subsequent sections, establishing the foundation of liberty is paramount to understanding liberties role in a historical framework, as well as the present context as citizens of a Constitutional Republic. Many citizens today (libertarians) confuse liberty with regard to individual autonomy, whom behind the veil of free agency somehow consider liberty as full individual freedom. As such, libertarians neglect individual responsibility or accountability, where one may be free to commit crimes of any degree. John Stuart Mill captured in his writing on liberty the inherent need to retain the mores and spiritual values that were fundamentally responsible for this Constitutional Republic. The concept of liberty has become obscured by individual freedom.

Liberty whether individual or in governance is a result of the rule of law, especially as liberty correlates with Natural Law as defined and applied by our framers, and more specifically by Thomas Jefferson’s interpretation of the writings of works by Thomas Aquinas, Francisco Suárez, Richard Hooker, Thomas Hobbes, Hugo Grotius, Samuel von Pufendorf, John Locke, Francis Hutcheson, Jean Jacques Burlamaqui, Emmerich de Vattel, Francis Bacon, William Blackstone, and Baron de Montesquieu. In addition, the evolution of Natural Law from: the Bible, Aristotle, Cicero, and a plethora of others; Natural Law became the foundation to the establishment of the common law system found in England with the Magna Carta. As one studies the long volatile period of early European history, Natural Law became integral to Gods Law as the Greek, Roman, and Christian philosophies mixed and emulsified into a harmonious basis that setup the evolution of enlightenment at the beginning of the twelfth century.

As a nation of law’s, with the Constitution being the highest law of the land one must understand the origins of our legal system. The Common Law system today is applied to 49 of the 50 States, Louisiana uses civil law which is based from France and Spain and ultimately is derived from Roman law. The evolution or ascent of enlightenment lead to the penultimate revolution in 1688 of man’s liberties, and is commonly called the Glorious Revolution in England. This Glorious Revolution was the precursor to the revolution that changed the world. That revolution, which dramatically changed government in Western Society as well as the world, was the American Revolution, that inherited by default the ideologies of England due to the principle origins of the thirteen colonies. As such, the American Revolution was the beginning of the third epoch, elevating liberty that was codified into law into the Constitution, which set the standard for the world as it is today (dangling by a thread). The first two epochs will be discussed later in the section.

To understand the disarray of the United States and what it will take to get America on track to being the great nation that our founders created, one must understand: 1) the origins of liberty, 2) what type of government should have been erected and what did our founders (the States) establish in this Constitutional Republic, 3) how did we deviate from the original Constitutional Republic, and 4) how to get back into the framework of the Constitutional Republic. Therefore, this first section will provide a narrative of the origins and history of liberty.

One should be able to fathom that liberty is not a black or white issue or an on or off matter. Liberty comes and goes in degrees or stages; therefore, for illustration purposes, the scale below delineates liberty into a spectrum of white to black with varying shades of gray between each terminus. The white terminus represents full liberty or an absence of external influence or control, and the black terminus represents enslavement or a complete absence of liberty. In the similitude of light and an absence of light, this is an appropriate correlation as one considers the origins of liberty and the Constitution of the United States; therefore, this scale will be referred to throughout this book.

Before one can delve into the significance of what our founding fathers created in bestowing a Constitution Republic upon America and the world, one must understand the scope and reach of what is to be considered as the expansion of the enlightenment era, as asserted by this author, which resulted in literally changing the world from what W. Cleon Skousen referred to as the 5000 year leap. For thousands of years societies slowly evolved, merged, and at times reverted back to archaic ways with relatively little advancements until the dawn of enlightenment (historians assert this was approximately 1650 to 1770). In a macro perspective, the advent of the enlightenment era propelled mankind in two opposite directions. One direction was towards liberty and the other was towards enslavement. Though Jefferson did not invent the anti-slavery argument, he did inspire the change by planting the seed. In Jefferson’s defense of a mulatto slave in Howell vs. Netherland, Jefferson was the first to argue in court on behalf of a slave that in reference to Natural Law and that under this law we are all born free. This ideology ignited a spark that eventually shifted the world’s paradigm with Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence, to the insertion of the Bill of Rights into the Constitution. George Mason penned Jefferson’s defense of the slave, which all men are created equal, first into the Virginia’s Constitution, but again this was Jefferson’s original argument.

Though liberty was not a new concept or word, it is essential to frame liberty in context to its origins and role throughout mankind; therefore, one must begin from the fundamental foundation of man’s origins to understand how liberty became the bedrock of our Constitutional Republic. Hence, before leaping past thousands of years of governance and societies and simply starting in the eighteenth century where academes assert was the beginning of the enlightenment period, it is imperative to start at the Judeo-Christian beginning. This illustrates a macro perspective of history, where one can begin building the argument that the origins of Liberty are a product of divinity. Why Judeo-Christian – instead of applying a Darwinian secular, Zoroastrian, Muslim, or any other foreign philosophy to America, because this is the framers choice (again by default). The founding of America was not based on Confucianism, or any other foreign religion or philosophy, the 13 original and independent States were founded on Judeo-Christian doctrines; therefore, the paramount analogy for the American introspective would be to base the perspective on the framers and founders heritage (i.e. Judeo-Christian).

Consequently, the framework with which this account will construct and portray significant events or bedrock ideologies will be inclusive of Judeo-Christian history as the milieu with regard to how our new government possessed a focus which dovetailed Natural Law with the Gospel of Christ (with scriptural references that are derived from the King James Bible) as it came forth during the enlightenment era, woven with tolerance in the new world. This created a birthmark for a new civilization and an epoch for mankind.

Conversely, American and world campuses are monopolized with academes who pontificate Darwinian secular opinions on ideologies such as these, and because their philosophy has remained unchallenged in the American education system, this book offers a counter to their unfounded ideologies. The authors intent is not to be exclusive of their ideology; however, the academes opinion and theories are considered common knowledge and as a point of fact to most Americans. One can easily assert that the majority of Americans have been inculcated with these ideologies, which is why many espouse these theories today as fact. Consequently, assembling relevant events regarding man’s liberty and our ascension to independence will be contrary to these philosophies in the American education system. Others in academia, society, history, and science who are sadly constrained or clouded in biases, may consider this book as a heresy; however, this book should hopeful serve many as an invitation or re-introduction into an ideology or paradigm that challenges their status-quo, begs the induction of academic freedom once again, into the American education system, and allow for the open exchange of ideas and honest and fervent debate and discussion as our founders were able to do. Therefore, contrasting these theories de jour to a disparate paradigm, will invoke the aforementioned passionate outcries of blasphemy; however, if common sense logic and reason prevail, these ideas will initiate critical thinking and discussion, placing America on track to begin the healing process.

With an ample supply of status quo textbooks and academic courses; again, the events, results, and analysis in this narrative are submitted to challenge biases, and purport a critical and disparate model with the relationship of religion, politics, and governance as associated to Gods Law, Natural Law and the founding principles of the United States, its Constitution, and Bill of Rights. That said, if these arguments complicate and challenges the reader’s biases and leads one to step outside of their comforts, then based on the premise that reasonable people equally informed seldom disagree, than one can believe that with continued research and prayer, most will come to a common conclusion, that our liberty as a nation is in severe danger, unless we desire to change our core principles and surrender our liberty and sovereignty.

    Background of Science and Evolution

Before challenging these mind models, it is imperative to establish a common understanding science and scientific law. It may seem callous to assert that some historian’s books, voluminous reference materials, articles, and especially school text books in the last two centuries as well as the current curriculum which professors and teachers use today are based upon the author’s biases. The author asserts the same for this work; however, too many citizens believe in Darwinian historians (i.e. secular progressives) who espouse that life evolved from subspecies and eventually mankind evolved from the animal kingdom. Section I will argue that the evolution hypothesis is a less supported theory to current evidence, and those who purport this as fact, only appear correct when bending and distorting the facts and evidence. Science, history, and recent technological advancements have actually proven the ideology of these soothsayers incorrect, who for the sake of their sacred agenda are missing objective reasoning. What is taught today is merely a hypothesis of evolution, which has thus far been speculative at best and as one recent professor would call it, Bunk Science.

Those whom are enamored with the ideology that they are descendants of rodents can make a very passionate argument, if only we can accept what they call as science. Within a snapshot of time, these scientists prop up their argument that is supported with very old data and try to assert that this is an ostensible law of science. If one examines this argument in the fundamental standards of science, evolution has not made it past the hypothesis phase, and has become an agenda or conjecture at best in contrast to scientific theory and law. Fundamental science 101, would suggest the following:

The first step in developing a scientific law is:

Observations and Measurements: This is where someone observes an apple falling on one’s head or where someone actually witnesses rodents living with people. This scientific observer then makes consistent observations and measurements and gathers data which are applied to quantitative data.

The second step in developing a scientific law is called the hypothesis stage:

This is where a person in the scientific community makes an educated guess, such as observing rodents and people existing together; therefore, a hypothesis would be that rodents evolve into a Homo sapiens or because apples and all objects fall to earth some there must be some force that is constant. A hypothesis can be supported or disproved through consistent experimentation and observations.

The third step in developing a scientific law is the act of conducting experiments to substantiate or support their hypothesis:

This is where the rubber hits the road in the science community, because until a hypothesis has been tested with consistent experiments the assertion retains buffoonery status. Therefore, scientists work ardently in a laboratory developing human actual life cells out of minerals, or drop all sorts of objects.

The fourth step in developing a scientific law is the Theory phase:

A scientific theory is when the hypothesis or group of hypotheses is validated by the experimentation process. This is where the successful scientist establishes and proves their theory and possibly other theories correct and in a nutshell, establishes the beginning of empirical data.

The final step is defining the scientific law.

This is where the theory is accepted as fact and truth, and sometimes the law opens doors to new hypotheses. Once something becomes law there is a tendency to allow the law to become dogmatic and then we tend to over look other possibilities. In essence, creationists (not that this was a scientific law) believed blindly that Adam was placed on earth that was created only a few years sooner; however, science and carbon based dating (though not a precise science) has refuted this, thus shaking the religious who held to the older philosophy. Another problem with the scientific method is that once things become law we stop thinking scientifically, and yet some assert that creation has a timeline problem with prehistoric life.

As one might observe in the education system, evolution appears to be law. That all life evolved from a protein clay goo substance, then eventually rodents to primates and from primates to homo-sapiens, was an interesting theory; however, there is little to base this as fact or law. This old hypothesis has yet to produce substantial results that can support the series of hypotheses to be assumed as law. Then why is this taught as scientific law? Because these hypothesis are instrumental in removing Christianity from the American education system, and setting up what will be asserted in Section III as the National Secular Church.

With the advent of nanotechnology and microbiology, science has learned that for a cell to support biological life, it
