Introduction
Working from home is something that many people want to do. They want to be their own boss, be in charge of the money they make and do something that they WANT to do. Does this sound like you? If you, making money with online writing could be for you. The question is where do you begin?
Before you even start, you have to remember that you will not get rich quick from this. It will take time to get into a routine, find companies, clients, magazines and websites to write for and start earning enough to pay the mortgage every month. It will take dedication and you need to be willing to put that dedication into your work. If you’re not then this ISN’T for you.
Being a freelance writer means that there are many opportunities out there. You may find that you can work for print magazines while ghost-writing for private clients and maintaining a blog (or blogs) of your own. As you read through this, you will find that online writing is something that I have solely worked on as there are very few print opportunities out there in my niches. However, I utilise many of my online opportunities to make the money I need each month.
So, what will you learn from this book?
How to start your own blog and monetise it
Different options for a freelance writer
Tips to help you become a more successful freelance writer
Where to find job opportunities
And much more…
This is a book predominantly for novice freelance writers. It helps those who want to know where to start and what to do in the world of writing.
Chapter One: Opportunities for Freelance Writers
There are many different opportunities for those looking to work as a freelance writer. I have mainly opted for online writing and my own eBooks, but there is also the option of print publications. The different types of writing work differently and
