    Chapter 1

    Worrisome message

    Table of Contents

While preparing his cereal breakfast at his Lancaster, California home, Jack Starr Rocketfeller received a Federal Express mail with the message, If I do not send you ako s gate 12another mail within 24 hours please try to find me, I suspect one of the gangs of New York is on my trail for revenge.

The letter sent shivers up the spine of our hero, Jack Starr.

The letter was sent by his half sister, Jane Brightly Taylor. Jack Starr lost his father several years back. Jack Starr’s father disappeared without a trace several years ago. The family hired a private investigator to locate Jack’s father. However, all efforts proved futile. Jim Charles was never found. One version states that one of the one gang in New York was demanding protection money from Jack. It was possible that Jack refused to pay the protection money. Consequently, he could have been kidnapped. There is no proof whether he was killed or currently being kept as hostage.

Another version stated that one of the gang members hired a sniper to implement the assassination of Jim Charles as he was returning home. Jim Charles had paid the ransom money and was allowed to go free. However, the dispute among the gang members regarding the dividing of the ransom money precipitated to an all out war among the kidnappers. In the firefight, Jim Charles was accidentally

    shot while being released.

A third version of the story states that Jim Charles Rocketfeller was assassinated for refusing to pay protection money. As Jim Charles Rocketfeller’s limousine passed by the Rocketfeller tower near the Bronx, Jim Charles could hear the wheezing sound of bullets going near him. He tried to lower his head to avoid the sniper’s bullet. However, his chubby Caucasian frame was easy target. The bullet trespassed into his forehead. The bullet rushed straight and true towards his back. Finally, the sniper’s bullet exited his head. His body was stashed away to ensure the gang can make a bluff. The gang would continue to ask for protection money in exchange for the future release Jim Charles. After the ransom money was paid, the gang members would disappear and the family would never know the whereabouts of Jim Charles.

    That was five years ago.

After a sumptuous breakfast of ham and egg, Jack played a computer game to sharpen his mind’s analytical prowess. Jack Starr’s favorite games were Vice City, Bejeweled, Chicken Invaders, Warcraft, Counter Strike, Chessmaster, and Casino. Jack regularly won his gaming community’s starcraft computer game.

After an hour of demolishing his online starcraft opponents, Jack Starr decided to turn off the computer game. As a starcraft game fanatic, Jack Starr never used game cheats to overpower the games’ opposing forces.

The surviving spouse, Mrs. Augustina Rocketfeller, remarried. She married one of descendants from England’s affluent families. After three years of mourning the untimely disappearance of her Husband, Augustina married William Taylor, a space scientist. As one of the scientists, Taylor focused on the study of alien life forms. Self funded, William Taylor felt that he was able to gather enough evidences on UFO existence and Alien life on a distant galaxy.

However, Taylor’s findings, being self-financed, were not well accepted by the professional community. His consistent requests for inclusion of his UFO research in the peer- reviewed scientific journals were repeatedly disapproved. The reason was that his findings were all based on speculations.

Taylor had tried to prove using his calculation that another earthlike Planet ZZhebhball473 exists in another galaxy. Setting up his self-financed radio telescope in London, Taylor was able to intercept some of the space messages. The messages were in an alien language. Using Babylon language translation technology, pyramid picture image translation technology, hieroglyphics, to decipher the intercepted sounds, Taylor felt that the message was an order to visit earth. Taylor opined the visit translation could mean the aliens are about to invade earth.

Taylor was convinced that the sounds were actually messages from outer space that were sent to earth.

The community laughed at Taylor’s out of this world theory. Distraught, Taylor stopped all further activities of his ten year UFO-related research. Subsequently, he refocused his ingenuity on the family business. He stopped his eager search for life in other Planet ZZhebhball473s three years ago. The family business is a restaurant. The restaurant, Space Jump, focused on selling broiled chicken and Italian style pizza.

Pouring cereals on his breakfast plate, Jack Starr wondered why his half sister would send a 24 hour mail through Federal Express. In our advanced information technology age, Jane Brightly could simply send an email through the internet. It is free to send emails through Yahoo mail or Google mail. Further, there is less danger of the message being filtered (opened and the valuable contents stolen). Third, there is less danger of the mail not being able to arrive at its destination, including arriving on time.

Jack Starr pondered opined that William Taylor’s daughter, Jane, could send a text message through the cell phone. A text message will reach the recipient’s phone within less than a minute.

Finally, Jane Brightly can just simply call Jack Starr and speak directly to her brother. Calling would ensure that Jane Brightly is able to communicate her message as well as confirm that the person on the other end of the line had indeed affirmed receiving and understanding the message orally.

Such wondering increased Jack Starr’s tense worrying. Even though they had often quarreled over sibling matters most of the time, Jack Starr always cared for his half sister. He would often tell his sister, I am doing all this because I care and love you as my half sister.

To assuage his apprehension, Jack Starr picked up his cell phone and dialed his half sister. The message from the other end stated the number you dialed is either unattended or out of reach at this time. Jack Starr’s cell phone went off.

Why I do not get your cooperation at this time of need! Jack Starr scolded his cell phone. Jack Starr’s phone batter y was spent. Jack Starr immediate pulled out his cell phone charger and attached his batter to the cell phone charger. Plugging his battery charging to the wall outlet, Jack Starr brought out a blank sheet of paper and a parker ball point pen. Parker is one of the expensive pens.

Gulping down coffee, Jack Starr became more anxious. Scribbling the title analysis on top of the
