About the Author
Introduction
Zack is a 13-year-old fictitious character, who loves life and adventure. In fact, adventure seems to find him – although he helps it more than he should. Zack lives in the Central Florida and attends Living Water Community Church, where he is a member of the boy’s fellowship for 10- to 16-year-olds, The Boy’s Den.
Zack joins The Boy’s Den for their first ever Bible Camp and disappears in the Florida backwoods in the middle of the night. It is a harrowing adventure. He is wandering the woods for 30 hours before being rescued by helicopter.
His story is told in my ebook Lost in the Woods: A Bible Camp Mystery.
The reading quest picks up there. Shortly after Zack returns home, it’s time for the family’s summer vacation – a pretty ambitious summer vacation. Unfortunately, Zack disappears AGAIN.
So, in his ebook you’ll read all about Zack and his family’s travels, and you get to guess where Zack disappears this time. I’ve included a couple personal safety sections with general information that may be useful to you.
Have fun!

Rainbow Springs opened as a privately-owned tourist attraction in the 1930s. When traffic traveled through the center of the Sunshine State along US. 41, 441 and 27, visitors rode a sub-boat that allowed them to see below the boat’s waterline at eye level; a monorail ride known as the Leaf Ride carried them around the park at tree level, state park officials say
But as Interstate 75 bypassed Dunnellon and other smaller Florida cities, the springs were forgotten and left in disrepair. Although Rainbow River was recognized as a National Natural Landmark by the U.S. Department of Interior in 1972, the amusement park closed two years later, officials say.
Then in 1995, Rainbow Springs reopened as a state park. Its Headsprings Entrance still is accessed through U.S. 41 three miles north of Dunnellon, a community of some 1700 residents southwest of Ocala.
When temperatures peak, the springs are a popular destination for tubing along the Rainbow River. People can
