About this ebook

Synopsis For Your Stronghold – His Body – The Church
By Doug Vermeulen

Book 6 covers the establishing of Christian strongholds, by means of studying the Bible Gates mentioned in the Old and New testaments in the Bible. Firstly, there is an explanation of what the Melchizedekal priesthood is, in terms of the 5-fold Ministry, and shows that this is the only way to construct a Christian stronghold.
The Bible Gates study explains the nuts and bolts of the Melchizedekal priesthood.
The format is simple; and the book gives a step-by-step procedure to ‘make your stronghold’ in God; both individually and corporately The procedure follows the detailed instructions given by God for the construction of the Bible Gates for the walled city of Jerusalem.
Satan needs to be replaced by Jesus Christ. The Bible Gates show how we can build a Christian stronghold, from which to take the fight to the enemy.
It says in the scriptures that the reason Jesus came to earth was to destroy the works the devil has done. [1 John 3:8b]. As part of the Body of Christ and His Bride it no less our function to do the same. It is best we proceed with wisdom and knowledge about what we are doing.

It is absolutely vital to ask the Holy Spirit to guide the whole episode of prayer warfare. He is able unmask certain parts of satan’s hierarchy that are being sneaky and trying to hide away from us
This book deals with the situation of building a Christian stronghold from which to take the fight to the enemy. [Matthew 12:29 (Bible in Basic English) Or how may one go into a strong man's house and take his goods, if he does not first put cords round the strong man? and then he may take his goods.]
It is not simply the defeat of satan that is necessary, but that satan is a hindrance on our way to us becoming like Jesus Christ (Ephesians chapter 4)
The group who made up the leaders of the 12 tribes of Israel are looked at in terms of where they fit in the Bible Gates structures.
The people of the 5-fold Ministry [Ephesians 4:11] are placed in their appropriate positions in the placing of the Bible Gates.
The gemstones mentioned in the Bible are looked at in some detail and the 12 Apostles in Jesus time are also discussed.
We start this chronicle with a set of scriptures to key us into the background of how we can do what the title suggests we should do; form a stronghold called the Church. Every member of Jesus’s Spiritual Body, the Church, is involved in forming the stronghold.
Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess. [Hebrews 3:1]
.....you also like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. [1 Peter 2:5.]
As Jesus Christ cannot be high priest over nothing, but high priest over priests; and as His Word declares that we are his brothers; and that we `are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood' it therefore follows implicitly that we are priests of the order of Melchizedek.
It therefore, also follows that we are then to have the Holy Spirit show us exactly what being of the `order of Melchizedek' means in our lives.
What is it that we have to do?
Where is it that we have to do it?
Why is it that we have to do it?
When is it that we have to do it?
Who has to do it?
How is it done?
We have to become totally acquainted with every aspect of our Melchizedekal priesthood---as we see here:-
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
