I live in Southern California with my husband and my 3 wonderful teenagers. I have always been fascinated with Paranormal Romance and Boy meets Girl Romance. I enjoy watching horror and science fiction movies. I have just taken up snowboarding with my family and we all love it. I am still very new at snowboarding but I love the challenges that it brings. After reading Paranormal and Fantasy Romance; I decided to give it a try. This is my first Paranormal Romance Novella. I had so much fun writing and introducing my characters in this book, I have decided to add another book to the Optical Illusion series. Chapter 1

Bogdan Vasile was the son of Danut Vasile, a very powerful vampire king of Romania; his mother was a mortal woman named Elizabeth. They met in 1768 and married a year later; they soon had a son. Bogdan took after his father; his hair was blonde, his skin had an olive tint, and he stood 6’ 6’’ tall. His eyes were blue as the sky, and when he looked at you, it seemed he was looking into your soul for answers. Bogdan also inherited his father’s strength and ability to teleport.

In 1794 Bogdan’s mother and father were killed by rogue vampires while trying to protect their only child. The vampire law stated No vampire shall ever mate a mortal, if a vampire broke the law, the punishment was death by beheading.

Bogdan was 25 years old when he became king and took over Vasile’s Trading Corporation; his father’s art trading business. While running the business; Bogdan spent centuries fighting wars all over the world.

The immortal world seemed to always have conflict on who would sit on the Immortal Counsel. There was always a Lycan, Fairy, Vampire, Warlock or Witch that felt they deserved to hold a seat on the Immortal Counsel. Unfortunately there was only 20 seats available. There were 15 held by the Hybrid Vampires, 2 Lycan, 1 Fairy, 1 Purebred Vampire and 1 Warlock. As always the Purebred Vampires felt they deserved to have the majority since they were not considered an abomination. The wars within the immortal world seemed to surface every 100 years.

Bogdan had searched for his soul mate for an eternity, but he had yet to find her. Bogdan had more money than he needed, but the one true thing he desired and craved was a mate; someone he could love for all eternity.

Chapter 2

Cassie finally made it home after the usual 12hr work day, but today was not over yet. Her friend Jenny had called to see if she wanted to attend the grand opening of a new night club downtown; of course Jenny was one of those people that never took no for an answer, so she had about 2 hours before Jenny arrived to pick her up. Cassie showered and put on her sexy little black dress and her silver stilettos. She put her hair up in a messy bun to show off her diamond studded earrings her mother had bought her a few months ago on her 30th birthday. Jenny had told her the club was supposed to be a singles paradise, and she was bound and determined for Cassie to meet Mr. Right.

When they arrived at the club around 10pm, there was a long line, but Jenny knew the bouncer so they were able to enter through the VIP entrance. Thank the stars for Jenny’s connections. The club was dim but very elegant. Cassie almost felt a little under dressed but knew one could never go wrong with a little black dress. Jenny led her over to the VIP section of the club and they were seated. Jenny ordered a red headed slut and Cassie decided to go strong and ordered a dirty orgasm.
