    Tropical boutique owner Kristen Maroney has gotten the season off to a good start in the seaside town of Placencia. Customers troop in and out of her store and sales are encouraging. But suddenly her usually even tempered assistant Belinda turns snarly with customers, who complain to Kristen. She graduated Yale University with a Ph.D in French, and has lived and worked in Paris, New York, Boston, and San Francisco.
