Vanessa had it all: handsome husband, two beautiful children, a lovely home, and a successful career. She was living the dream life she and her friends fantasized about as girls over hot fudge sundaes...until her husband miss-dials a call and throws her plans for the perfect life off track.
Now recently divorced, Vanessa attempts to re-kindle a love interest from her past but lets down her walls too late. Her well-meaning friends decide an intervention is in order, soon discovering dating post-40 is harder than it seems. The dating pool they once knew has become a puddle, with each blind date being crazier than the one before.
Will she ever be able to live a life that makes her happy? Or will she regret her decisions and go running back to the world that she once knew?

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was an interesting book. It took me back to the time I found out the same things about my ex and the divorce. I admit to not getting back into the dating game. It is just too much hassle.
While I enjoyed the book, I have a few problems with the editing. Here is a sentence from the book: Christmas dinner became a big engagement celebration. The remainder of the trip was all about wedding plans. Everyone wanted a summer wedding accept her but what did that matter? The author used accept instead of except. The author explains everything in vivid detail. I personally feel that the book has too much detail.
While this book has lots of promise, I think it could be better if the author has a professional editor work on it.
Thanks for a good read Lynn.
The bunnies and I give this book 3 carrots.
