The Bondage of the Will

About this ebook
"The Bondage of the Will" is a must for anyone who is interested in the fundamental doctrines of the Reformation with particular interest in justification by faith alone. "The Bondage of the Will" is a brilliant and captivating discourse to Erasmus of Rotterdam against his treaty on free-will called “The Diatribe on Free-will.”
In his writing, which has stood the test of time, Luther affirms mans total inability to save himself and the sovereignty divine grace in our salvation. Luther infallibly demonstrates why man’s will is totally enslaved to sin and that the term and belief of free-will is completely meaningless.
“Luther’s works is the restored foundation of the Protestant church”
“Luther is a masterful theologian.”
“There are few books written that have stood the test of time, but for The Bondage of the Will, by Martin Luther, here it stands.”
Richard McCormack
On every gravestone in the world there are two dates. One recounts the day the person was born, the other when they died. Yet between those two dates dwells a dash that represents the entire sum of the persons life — and it is in this dash Richard D. McCormack has dedicated his life to helping people in need. Born in California and reared in the southwest, Richard has been part of many cultures. Growing up the second son of a “preacher-man,” he has seen the good and bad that ministry has to offer. After seeing the devastation of abuse to his fifteen month old daughter he has tried to help others find peace in their struggles. A graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Wort, he has been the pastor of five churches, two of which he started, and one in California. Today, Richard is the pastor of Southern Baptist Church, Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He is a prolific author of devotions, articles, and books to help people overcome their struggles. Richard is the author of several books including "All or Nothing," "Does This Christian Thing Work?," and "It Is Well . . .," which is about one family devotion to see God and understand His love as their life cycles through the repeating phases of tragedy and hope. His latest writing is a 6 part serial cliffhanger series called "Living Darkness." Richard is also a noted classical portrait photographer and photojournalist. His work has appeared in magazines and papers around the world.
