It takes days to pass through the security checks and gain clearance to enter the city. After a long and uneventful wait a successful migrant worker is then rewarded with the dubious rights to sacrifice health and freedom. However by bringing the right meds and not staying too long, there are few social distractions to prevent a worker leaving here with enough money left, after further medical expenses, to enjoy a more relaxing time in a location a little more appealing. The three migrant workers are hopeful about expecting to start work but in Chemical City nothing is certain. Chemical City is both known by this nickname rather than the official title and for being more like a vast industrial complex, grimy and ash covered. Huge and situated in a barren wasteland the city is protected by massive walls and intensive defence and security measures. Eventually their biometrics check out with the machines at the city gates and they pass all
