When asked where her inspiration comes from, McKnight replies, “I think life provides you certain insights. Having worked in many fields has given me a variety of experiences over the years; a chance to observe people in different settings. Being a military wife and having lived across Canada—and in Australia—has opened my eyes to a world I would never have known otherwise. It has enriched me as a person and empowered my writing in a very significant way. I find volunteering extremely inspiring as well.” McKnight enjoys volunteering in classrooms or libraries when she can; she finds that it invigorates her imagination as much as it satisfies her love of books. The author’s writing career began with award-winning poetry in high-school. Her love of writing brought about the birth of her first book, A Mother's Heart, published in 2004, followed by the completion of Divine Deception in 2010. Ready for a new challenge, Mrs. McKnight has embraced ebooks. Her books are available through Amazon.com and eTLc. You can also order the hard copies by emailing her directly at libellule11@live.ca. Mrs. McKnight presently resides in Redcliff, Alberta with her husband, 3PPCLI major Charlie McKnight and their son, Kris, enjoying their adventurous military lifestyle. “My hobbies? I enjoy skiing, golfing, Zumba classes, bowling, Asian and Indian cuisine, playing board games and cards, amateur theater, soaking in the hot tub with my hubby and a good Aussie bubbly wine."

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Falon Ashby was sent to live with her uncle Charles when her mother became to sick to look out for her. Her uncle was a drinker and abuser and Falon found herself in a terrible situation. Trader Donovan owns the land that Charles' house sits on. When Trader comes to collect the rent and Charles can't pay he threatens to evict him. When a storm arises Falon allows Trader to sleep before the fire. But when her uncle walks in and sees Falon and Trader in each others arms he demands Trader marry Falon. Trader does marry her but makes it clear that it's a marriage in name only. And though that seems to be working for Trader, Falon finds herself falling in love with this hooded tower of strength. Will Trader find the courage to unveil himself before Falon? Will Falon have the love and patiences to show Trader that she'll love him no matter what? This was sort of a Beauty and The Beast type tale. It did keep me interested the whole way through. I like the unusual names this author always chooses for her stories and Trader and Falon was no exception. I have to admit that it isn't my favorite Marcia Lynn McClure book but I still really liked it. It had suspense, romance, bad guys and a great hero who, of course, is shirtless at some point in the story. If you like this author's work then you will want to pick this one up as well!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Due to forces beyond her control, Fallon finds herself in a hastily arranged marriage to Trader, a man whose face is a complete mystery to Fallon due to the dark hood he is never without. Although he's made it clear that their marriage will be one in name only, Fallon can't help but want more from the man who saved her from her cruel uncle and has brought her to a home filled with every conceivable luxury. When he rescues her from an attacker and kisses her fears away, Fallon is determined to reveal the man beneath the hood, and to prove her love to him.I was hooked from the beginning. I can't resist a hoooded/masked hero, and neither could Fallon. This was a brief read, and the ending was perfect, even though it leaves you wanting more. Fallon is very young (18 years old for most of the story), and she behaves childish at times. Trader, however, is the strong, silent, somewhat brooding hero whose behavior is beyond reproach. There are moments of great passion between the two, but there are no sex scenes. It's a very sweet, tender love story...one I'll read again and again!
