About this ebook
Imagine a war between angels and demons that extends across our universe. Now, think bigger. Imagine that the fight between Lucifer and Jehovah extends across not only our universe but also involves two more ancient universes filled with demons and elves.
Lucifer has become King of Chaos, and the elves and demons have repaired their relationship. To those on the outside, Jehovah's plans for the multiverse may appear to be in peril. But the Lord works in mysterious ways...
Jehovah imprisons Lucifer's son and enlists the support of elven dissidents who have lost loved ones to Lucifer's past deeds. Lucifer's reforms in Chaos spark controversy at home and abroad, and the bond between the elven king Elandril and the demon king Lucifer grows stronger despite the protests of political elites in the elven capital of Arnessa. To get at the demons, Jehovah must isolate them. An enemy alliance is only as strong as its weakest link.
"The Goblin Rebellion" is the second book of the Lucifer's Fall trilogy, and book two in the Primal Patterns series.
Author's Note: For many readers, the context of this series involving Lucifer and Jehovah may be jarring. To better understand if this series is right for you, you may want to read my blog post which describes why the story of Lucifer and Jehovah are so different in this series.

Reviews for The Goblin Rebellion

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Normally I don’t review different books with in the same series because I find that to be repetitive but in this case I think it might be necessary. This is the second book from this series and it looks like the books keep getting better as they go on.This book keeps following the demon brothers through their trials and battles with a megalomaniac cousin who’s attempting to destroy pretty much everything else around him. Jehovah has also kidnapped the Demon King’s only child.I really enjoy these books and think the story is great. The writing takes a little bit to get used to because you jump into the middle of the story without much background or explanation. You pick up more of what’s going on and how everything works as the stories proceed. I would definitely recommend this book but it is definitely not for people with comprehension issues. Everything is not always spelt out in black and white.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Before I could read The Goblin Rebellion and review it with any real understanding, I had to read the first book in this series. The author was kind enough to make that book available to me. For that, a huge thank you!Definitely a guy's book. Full of action and battle. But a scientist's book as well. Full of math and quantum theory. And a spiritualist's book as well.Rex Jameson threw me for a loop with character names taken straight from the Bible. I was half expecting a heavily Christian read. I was certainly surprised. The character names were simply happenstance. They could just as easily been Larry, Jim and Sandra.Well worth the read if you are interested in alternate reality, science, action, and enjoy a good romantic adventure. All of that and more can be found in this book (and its predecessor). Looking forward to reading more from this talented author!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The Goblin Rebellion (Primal Patterns) by Rex Jameson is book two in the Primal Patterns series. (Lucifer's Odyssey is Book One of the series.) The Goblin Rebellion picks up eight years after Lucifer's Odyssey ends. Routan has pledged revenge against Chaos and it's king Lucifer, especially for killing all of his children in Uldram. Lucifer's son Christian is being held prisoner by Jehovah. Routan is planning an overthrow of the Chaos government and Jehovah is planning an invasion of the Eleven Realm.I enjoyed the descriptions of the battle scenes. I felt like I was on the field fighting during every battle scene. The character descriptions were very vivid and each character whether goblin, elves or demon had a distinct personalty. Even minor characters were very well fleshed out. I found it difficult to keep up with the number characters and whether they were goblin, demon, human or elves. I found it difficult to figure out which characters were on which side. There were so many intricate plots of deception. Each character had their own hidden agenda. The numerous list of charters was a little overwhelming. I thought this was a well told story for the battle of the future of the world. I am curious as to what will happen next, how everyone will deal with the fallout there were a few surprises in the end of this book. I am eager to read a book 3 of The Primal Patterns series.
