About this ebook
Bandelier Bunny And The Kiva is a children’s story about a young rabbit and his friendship with a mouse named Tecumseh. The tale takes place in Bandelier National Monument near Los Alamos, New Mexico. The rabbit learns the meaning of friendship and tolerance for others who are different. The idea of helping preserve the Earth’s resources is also present. Illustrated by the author.
Kathleen Macoughtry
Kathleen Macoughtry grew up in Hinton, West Virginia and now lives in Laurel, Maryland. She obtained her Registered Nurse Diploma from the University of Virginia and her BSN from the University of Maryland. She is retired from nursing. She and her husband spend their time traveling and caring for their many animals. She is also an artist and enjoys painting in oils and water colors in her art studio, The Depot. Bandelier Bunny and the Kiva is her first children’s story.
