Chapter 1

The big brown door opens, I feel a cold breeze brush my face. The air smells clean just the way I like it and there’s a lot of white fluffy stuff everywhere which I’ve never seen before. I step out of the door onto the top step which leads down to the garden. This white fluffy stuff feels fabulous under my paws, it’s cold but has a funky crunch to it as I walk. I then spot him, the cat from the other house that's a funny orange colour so I don’t like him. We’ve had a few fights in the past but being classed as the ‘baby’ hence my name Juvenis, he still unfortunately won. I stand there staring at him, not afraid to have another go at him, at least that way I would gain the respect from Bestia and Regina.

Bestia is the so-called ‘king’ he got that status from being the first here in this big house full of giants. He is big though and has taught me a lot through the years. Bestia is also the favourite with the giants. They have him sit on their laps, comb his think black fur and when that happens he just looks at me with a smirk.
