René Bazin
René BAZIN (1853-1932) est un écrivain français, à la fois juriste et professeur de droit, romancier, journaliste, historien, essayiste et auteur de récits de voyages. Son parcours littéraire, très riche et varié, comprend plus d'une soixantaine d'oeuvres romans, biographies, contes et récits de jeunesse, essais et nouvelles, chroniques de voyage et récits de la guerre 14-18. En 1895, il reçoit le prix de l'Académie française avec la parution de son récit de voyage "Terre d'Espagne". Ses deux romans "La Terre qui meurt" en 1899 et "Les Oberlé" en 1901 connaissent un immense succès couronné par l'Académie française. En 1903, il est élu à l'Académie Française, et occupera le fauteuil 30. Ses principaux romans: - Ma Tante Giron - Une tâche d'encre - Les Oberlé - La Terre qui meurt.
