About this ebook
Picking up where the second book in the Fort Bridger series leaves off, No Place for Fear finds Hannah Solomon befriending Betsy Fordham, a woman whose husband was captured and killed by Cheyenne Indians. Through friendship, Hannah talks with Betsy of the help God can providing in overcoming her bitterness and fear. Though that message is at first rejected, the disappearance of Betsy's two young sons-and their eventual rescue by Shoshone Indians-brings her to the place where she's ready to hear the message that God loves her, and that His perfect love casts out fear.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fear was a very real thing for the ladies who were wives of soldiers in the 1800's. Especially if you were living at Fort Bridger during the Blackfoot Indian uprising, and having to send your husband out on patrol, not knowing if he would return or be killed. Such was the case for Betsy Fordham, who grew to fear and despise all Indians, even the good ones. Hannah Cooper will try her best to help Betsy see her need to cast out her fear by replacing it with the love of the Lord. It will take a lot, but the prayers of the people will be answered, even in ways I wasn't expecting. This is the 3rd book in this series and they all flow as one big story. I encourage everyone to read them in the order they were written. The Cooper family continues to have a big part in this story as they continue to live the life that leads others to their Lord. It is one of those stories I like to just keep reading to see what will happen next in this family and in this town. On to book 4, "Pillow of Stone".One of my favorite conversations Hannah has with one of the ladies at Fort Bridger when asked why she isn't mad at God for taking her husband from her: "I can't be, because I trust Him thoroughly. The Lord doesn't have to explain everything He does in my life. I'm sure if I wasn't saved, I'd have been angry at God when Solomon was taken. But . . . . . . there's no way to explain it. All I can say is that if you would open your heart to Jesus and trust Him to save you and guide your life, you'd have His help to overcome your grief, your bitterness, and the fear you still carry". Truth that rings true even today.
