About this ebook

A powerful classic repackaged love story featuring a Native American hero, touches of mysticism and suspense, and heartrending romance.

Morgan Tallchief lives for the art he creates, but even that is haunted by the loss of the only woman he will ever love. When Kathleen Ryder mysteriously re-enters his life, the achingly sweet hunger that bound them together in the past returns as well.

Ok, so this book came highly recommended. I will say, there were some lovely endearing moments between the two main characters, and it was moving to see the effect they had on each other despite being separated for so long. I love the theme of star crossed lovers, or lovers separated against their will. However, it was a little too much...I don't know. Schmultzy? Gooey? A little too Harlequin for me.

I did find the incorporation of a native theme very nice and refreshing and the author didn't use it as a negative stereotype. I liked Morgan Tallchief, but I wasn't so fond of Kathleen. I think you have to love the characters in order for a story to work fully.

However on an upnote, the whole police drama mystery was an exciting addition and kept the whole story from getting too drippy. Three stars for me. Glad I read it, won't be reading it again.
