Lorraine Heath

Lorraine Heath always dreamed of being a writer. After graduating from the University of Texas, she wrote training manuals, press releases, articles, and computer code, but something was always missing. When she read a romance novel, she not only became hooked on the genre, but quickly realized what her writing lacked: rebels, scoundrels, and rogues. She’s been writing about them ever since. Her novels have been recognized with numerous industry awards and have appeared on the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists.

Loved the Hero, was annoyed by the Heroine in the last chapters. But the story was sweet and perfect for a Sunday read.

I loved the hero, hated the heroine at times. Not because she was air headed or bratty. She was simply nieve. She can't tell the difference between lust and love. She was seduced by a handsome charmer, one who seemed to genuinely love her in his own selfish way. As the reader, we of course know Jake is the far superior man. Unfortunately Rebecca simply doesn't have our superior wisdom. She has a good soul though and that kept me from hating her completely.
