Then, in a sudden decision to reach a broader audience, I embarked on the challenging journey of translating it into English. As an English language lecturer at a public university for 21 years, I thought the process would be straightforward. I was mistaken.
The translation process consumed countless days, sleepless nights, endless weeks, and almost another two years due to the extensive length of my work. English sparked new inspiration, leading me to add new sections and omit others, making the English version not exactly the same as the Turkish original.view less
