Since then he has become embroiled in an academic ménage à trois with Shakespeare and Dickens, presenting papers at conferences on both writers, as well as publishing articles and books. He is the general editor of Divining Thoughts: Future Directions in Shakespeare Studies and has edited three collections of Dickens’ writings for Hesperus Press, On Travel (2009), On London (2010) and On Theatre (2011). He is currently researching the life and works of Fitz-James O’Brien.view less
