He is now supervisor of master degree students at Chengdu University of Technology, China and his research focuses on environmental analytical chemistry. He has published more than twenty articles in esteemed peer-reviewed international professional journals, such as Accounts of Chemical Research, Environmental Research, Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Talanta, Electrochimica Acta, Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, Journal of The Electrochemical Society, Synthetic Metals and so on.
