She first started writing children’s books for her own children 35 years ago. Many of the characters that she writes about have character traits or activities of her children while they were young and life was simple and they lived on the farm.
The summertime book is written as a first person account about the author’s oldest daughter, who is the main character. In the book the main character describes what she loved about growing up on the farm.
The Author is employed as a Distinguished College Professor at the College of Southern Idaho and has been the program manager for the Surgical Technology Program for 25 years. She has published several instructor’s workbooks and student workbooks. She has also contributed to writing textbooks for the profession of surgical technology.
Janet Anne likes to keep busy and she enjoys teaching, knitting, reading, sewing, and writing. She likes to travel to see new things with her husband and camping with the family.
