A noted theatre historian, he is the author of over fifty articles and reviews in a variety of British and North American scholarly journals. Dr. Conolly also serves on the board of directors of the UNESCO-sponsored World Encyclopedia of Contemporary Theatre and is a vice-president of World University Service of Canada.
