His plays include rockbound and The Bricklin (with Paul Ledoux). He has won numerous awards, including four Dora Mavor Moore Awards, and a Best Film Score Award from the Atlantic Film Festival. In 2009, rockbound won five Merritt Awards, including Best New Play, Best Music and Best Production. Alan lives in Toronto, where he teaches Musical Theatre at Ryerson University.view less
