In 1985 he moved to California where he discovered a local Doctor Who where he met Helen, his wife and future co-author.
They have been married since 1989 and are still heavily into Doctor Who, Sci-Fi/Fantasy Conventions, costuming, and, of course, writing.
He has recently added voiceover acting to his list of accomplishments (thanks to a lot of encouragement and coaching from Helen). To date, he has narrated her entire Forever Detective Series (see Helen’s bio for details) which are now available in audiobook format.
Currently, he is in the process of recording “The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home” with the hopes of releasing it as an audiobook next year.
Helen Krummenacker has always loved writing and helped create the Para-Earth Series with her husband Allan, bringing more of the real-world science to each book.
She has a B.S. in Mathematics, and she hopes that writing proofs has helped keep her fiction streamlined and without serious plot holes. Since, like most people, she does have a tendency yell at characters who do stupid things when reading or watching a movie, she strives to avoid giving others reason to yell at her own work.
Hobbies include gardening, dancing, and painting.
Recent, in addition to working on the Para-Earths stories with her husband, she has started writing her own books called The Forever Detective series set in 1947 New York City. Film noir meets the paranormal as a former police officer turned private detective finds himself becoming part of the world of the supernatural in his first couple of cases.view less
