Although a Texas native, she dreamed of exchanging a sea of Indian paintbrushes for the turquoise of the Caribbean Sea, so she moved to the Dominican Republic. Now she lives in Texas where she writes full-time, when she’s not taking care of her two adorable cats, inhaling books on lucid dreaming, or making cappuccinos.
