Prior to her career at TWU, Janet served as executive director of the national Christian Legal Fellowship and also as legal counsel for the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. Janet researches and publishes on the topic of religious freedom with a focus on the intersection of faith, public policy and the legal system. She is a media commentator and public speaker on the Charter of Rights and human rights. Her recent book, Fighting over God, is a legal and political history of religious freedom in Canada. Janet has a key role in developing the proposal for the TWU School of Law in British Columbia.view less
